#868835 Is it possible to edit 3D fields? (FM23)
ruadsaloniko
But why miss out on the greater drama possibilities of a snow blizzard match like the Canadian Cup final of just three months ago in 2025? 🙂 See the video highlights courtesy of CPL Soccer. It's on YouTube. Maybe you can get a player you manage to do what the Man of the Match did in his very dynamic first goal easier in the more unusual snowfall game? The first half is a blizzard. For those who have not seen it, it was played in Ottawa, Canada 9 November 2025. Atletico Ottawa against Cavalry FC. Looks like a whole lot more fun for everyone, players, fans, and camera media teams too.
#868834 Is it possible to edit 3D fields? (FM23)
ruadsaloniko
Humberto, as I read your post from one month ago in January, the easy answer to what (I think) you are asking on 2 January is: “Yes.” I suggest this for you: Weather data edits in your game's pre-game editor. Maybe just make your club's city the very same weather/climate as Miami, Florida USA like for Lionel Messi and his pink flamengos team with Jordi Alba and Busquets. Or Sevilla, maybe Napoli or a Brasilian city. Probably lots of rain days for matches in places like Miami but likely very little snow days. I hope I understood you correctly.
Seems like a guy with the name of majesticeternity used to like to create better FM weather data mods, yes? If he is still around, he would surely be the expert to know how to avoid snow match days. But I should think it is as simple as changing your city's climate/weather in the pre-game editor. Yes? Or creating your very own unique spring/fall/summer/winter weather pattern in the Pre-Game Editor and linking that to your desired club's host city.
Reasoning of how FM's database is constructed would link rain/precipitation days with the celcius temperature days. Remove more lower celcius days during autumn/winter and the liklihood of snow decreases. Yes? Perhaps this helps. Cheers.
#868811 Legacy90 – Realistic ReGen Face Pack (Free Starter Pack)
ruadsaloniko
Thank you for doing this. You are correct. In many of those over-the-top, just way-too-many FacePicPacks they look like the faces look like those who live on the street and have lots of life crushing addictions. I am almost certain that at, for example, La Massia (the iconic and historic forging “home” for Catalan talents) there is some older, wise part time staffer who helps the young ones who will listen: Don't look like a druggie; look presentable. And just how exactly does long hair assist in true sport? The current crop of Barca top talent lighting up LaLiga and the Barca B talent waiting in the wings feature about 17-19 guys who have not yet reached their 22d birthday, and they still look respectable. Someone is helping them with solid life advice. In addition, your key point of not needing 8-10,000 face photographs is spot on - not to mention wasted storage space.
As you clearly state, one only needs coverage of facial photos for the top 12 - 16 future stars that may do for our own clubs what Gavi, Pedri, Marc Bernal, Pau Cubarsi, Marc Casado and Fermin are for presently the most exciting club on the European stage. No….not that I'll ever get or have a Diego Kochen or Tomas Marques-like lad in my U19….but, alas, one can dream. PRO Tip: Jofre, Dro and Tony Fernandez – yes, waiting in the wings.
#868779 ItsRisC Skins v4
ruadsaloniko
Hello. ItsRisC, thank you for doing these skins. I think your work here will still be used a lot into the future as the overall, as we all know, satisfaction with FM26 is very low. So good of you to keep things better for FM24 gameplayers. My belief is that more FM gamers are still with FM24 than the newer one. For me, I like and prefer your white or light skin that you offer to us here. I do have a request, if I may ask it: If you still again come to this page and view comments in this thread, please share with us how it might be possible to change the white on the Tactics page to green for where we place players in the starting 11 for a match. The Tactics Board as I call it – just like a manager in the dressing room has to make clear his match plan for all the players. A green field coloured background…. Is this possible? I hope the answer is yes. If you can help with this (just share what someone like me needs to do), it would be greatly appreciated. Very good work for your first go at a skin. Cheers.
#868774 Football Manager 26 Graphics
ruadsaloniko
olas nick, from what I can view, your comment above (made on 6 November - 3 months ago) is very, very accurate. The excitement and the joy of football as a sport is it is so much more than sport. It is culture. Club colours, city crests, locations of clubs (Merseyside? Tyneside? Bilbao in the heart of the Basque Country….) – all of it is what makes regional, national, continental and global football so very fascinating. The dark, very dull charcoal coal-like grey or black background with only tiny little highlights of a club's two primary colours is insufficient to let me get excited about facing off against Leiceister City, Ajax, Anderlecht, Atalanta, AS Roma, Rangers and or Betis Sevilla in something like a UEFA Europa League set of matches. If I face one of those clubs and prepare for the matchup, I will view their club home page. If their very dull, dark charcoal bland landing club page looks just like 80-90 percent of the very dull, dark charcoal bland club pages of the clubs in my own current French league, well, it becomes impossible to differentiate. It all looks the exact same. You have it right. It is the same for the various domestic cups' pages or late summer mini-tournaments. Example: Carabaou Cup (League Cup for England) should have that definition green colour to it. FA Cup should be a bold red. The Premier League that solid purple. The graphics/visuals/mini-stadium & city pictures matter a lot in real life as they define a city & club. And these same features are essential spice in a game simulation. And it is gone in FM26, yes? (maybe like Great Britain itself?)
#868772 Jimbo Skin (version 3.0.1)
ruadsaloniko
Hello to the creator of this super-fine FM24 skin, jeanblock. Sir, you created and shared with us a truly superb skin. Best one I have seen. I very much appreciate how you allow a red coloured club (or nation) to have that red colour highlighted prominently on the main pages of your skin. Or if is a green coloured club like Groningen of the Netherlands. A blue coloured club like Leicester City of England….then your skin provides that fine blue on the left side menu and the top/across menu. To me, so many of the other skins on this page look and feel very identical. Yours, jeanblock, stands out as better. Club (and nation/national team) culture is embedded in the colours of that club or nation. Your skin makes the game come more alive. Merci beacoup. (I just wish you had already been around as a skin-maker for FM 21 too! 🙂 If someone is looking for a truly well done skin for FM24 gameplay, choose this one by jeanblock. Also this: You kept the pitch green coloured/background on the tactics page. Super! (It is truly silly to see black or dark grey instead of grass coloured green on the Tactics - as with most all modders' skins. Green is like most all real managers use in their clubs with their players. Visually it is worlds better for the eyes.) If the Sega Team in England need a new top project manager to save the game & franchise for FM 27, choose Mr. JeanBlock. That is my sincere recommendation.
#868764 Worldwide Stadium Improvements FM24 edition
ruadsaloniko
This is to thank you, Priority 76, for your work in FM for better visual stadiums within the game. It is much appreciated. Please forgive, however, my failure to understand ---- as I think you have provided us all with two very fine files to use. The two different files are: Stadium Improvements.fmf and Stadium Fix.fmf. “Stadium Improvements” are the many stadia you worked to improve with seats, proper colours, and corners, yes? And “Stadium Fix” is the file that allows us within the FM24 Pre-Game Editor to edit/fix on our own? Yes? Do I have it right? Thank you VERY MUCH for the clarification --– as well as brief instructions on how to implement use of Stadium Fix ourselves. Thank you. But the main goal of this post is to thank you and others who have helped the visuals of the recent FM games (22, 23, 24) by making the various stadiums much more attractive for gameplay.
