I can't commit at the moment because of my job.

I would suggest Hyde, Chester, Grimsby or Wrexham outside of Forest Green.

I deffo want to have a go at this. Unfortunately I'm not a very creative writer, so it's just going to be a bit more of a factual thread. Wish me luck

Can do them here or create a game thread, adding up at the end of the season as you go along.

Why don't we start a update type thread so people who want to post about their career can without actually doing a story?

I presume like the one over on the SI forum? That is something I am probably going to do with my Welsh Save.

Thinking about a couple of saves, one is looking at taking a Welsh Premier League side to Champions League glory and making the Welsh Prem one of the top leagues in the World.

or

Looking at taking Wisla Krakow to Champions League glory.

The Challenge

The basic idea is that you manage both the San Marino club side, (who start the game in Lega Pro Girone B), and the San Marino National Team, using the players produced by an improved club academy to benefit the NT in a long-term save. If you are just interested in a challenge that will take you a few seasons then this ISN'T for you. It is likely to be measured in terms of decades rather than seasons because it is likely that you will be the only club producing players of a sufficient quality to impact on the NT as soon as your NT gains any real level of success.

The Club

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/bb/San_Marino_Calcio_logo.png

San Marino Calcio, (nicknamed Titani in English translates to The Titans). The club was founded as Società Sportiva Serenissima in 1960 by the San Marino Football Federation, in order to have a team representing the Republic of San Marino in the Italian league.. They have never played higher than Lega Pro Girone B, (where they are now), and have stayed in the same division as last year due to re-shuffle. They play within the Italian structure, (the only San Marino club to do so), and they are also the only professional football club in San Marino.

The Challenge Rules:
  • No Limits on how many leagues you can load.
  • No FMRTE or Genie Scout whatsoever.
  • Once you’ve been sacked by the Club, the Challenge is over and you have to start again.
  • Don’t have to start immediately with NT you can wait for as long as you would like.
  • You can add Edited in Leagues such as the Sammarinese League.
  • FMC can be used in this but you have to mention that you are using it
.

Thread Rules

Player Naming is allowed along with talk about Tactics but no talk on downloadable tactics. If you want to download someoen else's tactics, (sigh), fine, just don't talk about it in here please.

When joining the Challenge please post a photo of your Manager’s Profile.

Once you've done a season please can you post a short summary of your progress showing the key things with Screenshots(e.g. Squad Stats, League Table, Youth Intake etc.)

Setting Up

You can run as many leagues in as many nations as you want, but in order for San Marino to be active you need to load at least down to Lega Pro.

After you have selected the Nations that you want to start the game with, press "Next - New Game Overview". From there click on the "Database Size" tab, and then select "Advanced" at the bottom of the sub-menu. It will then allow you to include some options that may assist you within your game.

*Note - You might have to wait until the league add on for the San Marino league becomes available for FM15.

Some would argue this is an incredibly straight forward challenge. Your aim is to simply unlock the six national hero achievements on Steam, to do this you must guide a team from the bottom division of Brazil, England, France, Italy, Scotland and Spain, all the way to the top tier. In theory looking out to be the hero at the end of the night ...

You can use any reputation you like (although real heroes use Sunday League of course!) and begin with any club in the bottom division of these countries, if you want to make things even more challenging you could adopt a nationalist approach and only sign players from the country you are currently working in.

Good luck and remember Bonnie's looking for that hero! Will it be you?

P.S - As the French CFA isn't playable from the start you have two options, either leave it as the game will still give you the achievement for taking a club from the National division to Ligue1, or if you are a masochist you can enable play in the CFA by being relegated into it, as a short-cut you could holiday to the final day of season and take control of a side about to be relegated from the National which will allow you to go down without being sacked as the board won't judge you on that seasons performance.

It's back! With the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson from football after 27 years at the helm at Old Trafford. Many supporters have never known another United manager and most agree that there will never be another quite like Fergie as the Red Devils begin the search for the person charged with the unenviable task of succeeding the most successful manager in British football history.

That's where you come in....

Your challenge is to equal Sir Alex's trophy haul, there are several ways you can do this;

The Easy Way: - Start with the now manager-less Manchester United and continue the Red Devils's dominance of English football for another quarter of a century.

The Moderate Way: - Begin with a mid table English club who haven't won a league title in over 25 years and turn them into world beaters, developing several generations of new superstars along the way.

The Fergie Way: - Beginning in the Scottish Championship, take charge of any side for a season (SAF started at East Stirlingshire) You do not need to win a trophy here, eventually move on to a bigger Championship club (SAF: St. Mirren) and guide them to promotion. Eventually take over at an SPL side that is not a part of the Old Firm (SAF: Aberdeen), emulating the great man here will be the toughest part of the challenge, particularly in Europe (You'll be going for the Europa League instead of the now defunct Cup winners cup) Finally, after checking of Scotland you can move South of the border, taking on a fallen giant side from the Premiership (SAF: Manchester United) and guiding them to the staggering haul of silverware that Mr. Ferguson has amassed in the last 27 years.
http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/images/uploads/alex-ferguson-trophy.png

-Start with professional footballer set as your experience level.
-You may manage the Scottish national side during the course of your career as Sir Alex did briefly.
-Remember, Fergie's rule #1, No player is bigger than the club! if some prima donna starts acting up, give him the boot.
-If you manage to win the treble, you earn the right to nickname yourself 'Sir'

The pentagon challenge has been around a long time now, but only those with the patience of a saint and the managerial skill of a god have managed to complete it.
All you have to do is collect all five champions league trophy’s in one save after beginning unemployed with a Sunday league reputation, this may sound straight forward and in theory it is, but in practice it could take 20+ years to check off all five.
It's up to you where you start off, I recommend downloading plenty of additional leagues and loading as many as your computer can handle to give yourself as many options as possible as you go along.

For masochists out there, you can make the pentagon even more difficult by extending it to a Hexagon, you will need to find editor data for it somewhere but it's possible to also compete in the OFC Champions League if you download New Zealand or any other Oceania nation.
You might also consider an international Hexagon by collecting all six continental championships, or even a double Hexagon with both club and international titles on your radar!

The British Steel Challenge 2015...
Anyone fancying conquering Britain?

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/DlWgeSKhcm11PvyfTCFqAKnXC3YMxGFUz07eiM9O.png

For a fourth year running the British Steel challenge returns to Susie only this year there is a slight change with it! The challenge is no longer unbeaten following Gendo's success last year ticking off all thirty six trophies on a long, windy path! But can you be the one to challenge him and put your name down on the all times great list to have ever conquered Britain?

So what is the challenge: You have to win every trophy from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland in any order you want. However you must only use British and Irish players!

The challenge is made a little easier by counting promotion from finishing second in the league, or via the playoffs as the title but this is your choice. Any success in Europe or with the national teams are just an added note on your history but won't count towards this challenge.

Below is a the challenge leaderboard, once we get people on to the challenge we will add your name and a link to your story should you start one so people can follow it easily. Once you've won a trophy be it league or cup, I will need to see a screenshot for it to count.

Rules:
  • Only use British and Irish players
  • Must start with Sunday League Reputation
  • You may start at a club or start unemployed, your choice
  • You MUST send me a screenshot of each trophy won for it to count
Below is the list of playable trophy's within the game when you load all the home nations.(Downloaded competitions and expansions are not allowed)
England
Fa Trophy, Vanarama North/South, Vanarama Premiership, Johnson's Paint trophy, nPower League Two, nPower League One, nPower Championship, League Cup, Community Shield, FA Cup, Premiership

Scotland
Challenge Cup, League Two, League One, Championship, League Cup, Scottish Cup, Premiership

Ireland
Munster Senior cup, Division 1, League cup, Senior Challenge Cup, Premiership

Northern Ireland
Mid-Ulster Cup, Steel & Son's cup, Interim cup, County Antrim Shield, Division two, First division, League Cup, FA cup, Setanta Cup, Premiership

Wales
League Cup, FAW cup, Premiership

All the best to all the challengers....

Quote: Dafuge - SI Games Forum
The Aim

For the tenth year running the aim is the same - to take a small club who were previously unplayable in an unedited game from the Vanarama N/S to Premier League and Champions League glory.

The Rules

Load a game with the English leagues only, with the Vanarama N/S selected. All of the boxed should be left unticked apart from 'do not add key staff' and 'prevent use of in-game editor'. It should look like this.

Just like previous years, the players for the newly playable clubs need to be added which can be done using a custom database. The players from the three feeder league have to be added, which looks like this. If people wish to add extra players, any players from continents may be loaded, but not from individual countries. This is hopefully to provide a challenging game later on, without making the lower leagues too easy with too many cheap talented players available.

The extra levels of detail that you can change while in the game are up to you, as they shouldn't make a difference.

Add yourself as an unemployed manager, the details are not important at all. I like to call mine 'Holiday Man'.

Go on holiday until 25th June, this shouldn't take too long, perhaps about an hour. Turning off autosaving during this time will speed things up. Saving on 24th June may give you a better choice of teams by reloading the game then going on holiday for one day, I would strongly recommend trying this.

Retire your 'Holiday Man' manager. He had one job, he has succeeded and as a result he is no longer needed.

Add a new manager, the personal details are completely up to you but I would expect people to use their own true nationalities and languages spoken. Coaching badges must be set to 'None', with past playing experience set as 'Sunday League Footballer'. The coaching attributes are completely up to you.

When adding a new manager, choose one of the new clubs promoted to the Vanarama North or South to manage. A quick way to check the new teams is to find the 'England Overview' team, then the 'season summary'. Just above the FA Cup summary you should find a list of six new teams.

They should appear in this list which shows the reputation of the possible clubs. The reputation should act as a difficulty level. The lower the reputation, the harder your game should be.

It is now up to you to manage this club all the way to the Premier League title and UEFA Champions League crown.

You may not move clubs unless you are sacked.

If you get sacked, you can either take over a newly promoted club that satisfies the original criteria (check the club's league history), or just start again.

Any form of international management is not allowed, until you have completed the challenge.

Assigning parent clubs and loaning players is completely up to the player, although it should be noted that on occasions a parent club can lend players which will make the first season or two slightly less of a challenge. It is completely up to you how you play this one, but everyone knows real men don't use parent club loans. Personally, I like to assign a parent club for financial benefits but never take any players on loan from them.

To sign a player, you must be able to scout them, this doesn't mean you have to, just he must be accessible to your scouts. If you have a foreign player on a free transfer who is willing to come on trial, you do not need to be able to scout them, as long as you have them at the club on trial so you can get a coach report on him. If an agent offers you a player, you can sign him without scouting him.

No external utilities such as scouting programs should be used and the database should be unedited (with the exception of cosmetic changes which cannot be discussed here). Should SI release a data update, this would be allowed but any other data updates are not.

Just as always, no extra leagues can be loaded for the extent of the challenge. Once the challenge is completed, you have the freedom to do what you want.

Use of save game editors is strictly banned, whatever the reason. Ticking that box at the start should see to this.

Rules for this Thread

Player naming is allowed.

General discussion on tactics is allowed, although people should not refer to downloaded tactics. They are not banned, but I would expect the majority of people to avoid them.

When you join the challenge, post a screenshot of your manager's profile on the 25th June like this.

Progress of your club should be documented using this thread, we want to hear the story of your club all the way through. Please keep us updated, even if you are doing really badly.

At the end of every season, could everyone post some kind of season review, including at least a screenshot of a league table and the clubs transfer page. If you give this a title in bold it makes it a bit easier to pick out.

How to Post a Screenshot

While in FM, press Alt and F9
A picture will be saved to a screenshots folder, in the FM15 folder in your documents
Upload the image to an image hosting website such as imgur
Post the direct Url to the image here.
How to Add Links

At the top of the forum, go to 'Settings' then 'General Settings' (on the left). At the bottom, select 'enhanced interface' and save the changes. This will give you access to the extra posting tools that make it easier to post links. Once you've done this, highlight the word you wish to turn into a link, then use the link button (looks like a little globe) to paste in the direct Url to your screenshot.

I always play the largest database and Pullis was not there even trying to start multi games not in the game

Licensing doesn't mean anything when it comes to edited files it should of been fixed it's a very simple one

1. I will repeat. Pulis is in the game (note the spelling too, you might well be spelling his name incorrectly). You will need to play on the largest database and probably have Wales loaded too.

2. It does I'm afraid. You delete the certain files or add certain files. http://bit.ly/1scQPx7 or http://bit.ly/1scR77d will help

So many errors with this update I really don't know why all you groups that do updates dont get together and work on a ultra pack it's far more productive.

heres just a few errors i spotted way too many to post up

Tony Pullis - no longer in the game for some reason
Iain Moody - still at Palace in game
David Kemp - still at Palace in game
Jonny Evans - value 17 million lol (lots of the value are so wrong)
Michael Carrick - not injured (again lots of injuries are wrong big one is Andy carroll not injured)
Van gaal - his names Jan Jansen
enner valencia - hes a striker

Value is set by the game not by pr0.

Pulis is in the game! You might need to increase the DB size, in the editor he appears.

Van Gaal is called Jan Jensen because of a licensing issue. If you looked it up in Google you would find the solution.

Also what's great about pr0's update is that you can select and choose what you want to use and you are not lumbered with PA / CA changes like in the update you have mentioned.

I am running 14.3.1 version of the game I tested this on and all 7 files selected from your pack.

My post wasn't meant to slag you off I do respect the effort you have put into it I just don't see the point of multi different people working on different updates for the same thing it's far more productive if everybody worked together which should result in less work for each person and far less errors resulting in more complete updates.

To be fair your post did come across like that. To be honest the update is pretty good to be fair. Can't complain when someone is doing it out of their own time. My argument is if you are not happy then do one yourself.

You do realise that users submit the transfers to the update. I don't think you and many others understand that.

No changes regarding CA/PA to Berahino have been modified at all, and with West Brom signing a few others in his position, hes gone down the pecking order.

I can't control what teams want who on loan either

To be fair his CA has changed in the basefile! Deano is right in what he posted.
