#209591 The Sammarinese Challenge

The Challenge
The basic idea is that you manage both the San Marino club side, (who start the game in Lega Pro Girone B), and the San Marino National Team, using the players produced by an improved club academy to benefit the NT in a long-term save. If you are just interested in a challenge that will take you a few seasons then this ISN'T for you. It is likely to be measured in terms of decades rather than seasons because it is likely that you will be the only club producing players of a sufficient quality to impact on the NT as soon as your NT gains any real level of success.
The Club
San Marino Calcio, (nicknamed Titani in English translates to The Titans). The club was founded as Società Sportiva Serenissima in 1960 by the San Marino Football Federation, in order to have a team representing the Republic of San Marino in the Italian league.. They have never played higher than Lega Pro Girone B, (where they are now), and have stayed in the same division as last year due to re-shuffle. They play within the Italian structure, (the only San Marino club to do so), and they are also the only professional football club in San Marino.
The Challenge Rules:
- No Limits on how many leagues you can load.
- No FMRTE or Genie Scout whatsoever.
- Once you’ve been sacked by the Club, the Challenge is over and you have to start again.
- Don’t have to start immediately with NT you can wait for as long as you would like.
- You can add Edited in Leagues such as the Sammarinese League.
- FMC can be used in this but you have to mention that you are using it
.Thread Rules
Player Naming is allowed along with talk about Tactics but no talk on downloadable tactics. If you want to download someoen else's tactics, (sigh), fine, just don't talk about it in here please.
When joining the Challenge please post a photo of your Manager’s Profile.
Once you've done a season please can you post a short summary of your progress showing the key things with Screenshots(e.g. Squad Stats, League Table, Youth Intake etc.)
Setting Up
You can run as many leagues in as many nations as you want, but in order for San Marino to be active you need to load at least down to Lega Pro.
After you have selected the Nations that you want to start the game with, press "Next - New Game Overview". From there click on the "Database Size" tab, and then select "Advanced" at the bottom of the sub-menu. It will then allow you to include some options that may assist you within your game.
*Note - You might have to wait until the league add on for the San Marino league becomes available for FM15.
#209584 I Need a Hero Challenge - Sponsored by Bonnie Tyler
Cymro
Some would argue this is an incredibly straight forward challenge. Your aim is to simply unlock the six national hero achievements on Steam, to do this you must guide a team from the bottom division of Brazil, England, France, Italy, Scotland and Spain, all the way to the top tier. In theory looking out to be the hero at the end of the night ...
You can use any reputation you like (although real heroes use Sunday League of course!) and begin with any club in the bottom division of these countries, if you want to make things even more challenging you could adopt a nationalist approach and only sign players from the country you are currently working in.
Good luck and remember Bonnie's looking for that hero! Will it be you?
P.S - As the French CFA isn't playable from the start you have two options, either leave it as the game will still give you the achievement for taking a club from the National division to Ligue1, or if you are a masochist you can enable play in the CFA by being relegated into it, as a short-cut you could holiday to the final day of season and take control of a side about to be relegated from the National which will allow you to go down without being sacked as the board won't judge you on that seasons performance.
#209579 The Sir Alex Ferguson Challenge
Cymro
It's back! With the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson from football after 27 years at the helm at Old Trafford. Many supporters have never known another United manager and most agree that there will never be another quite like Fergie as the Red Devils begin the search for the person charged with the unenviable task of succeeding the most successful manager in British football history.
That's where you come in....
Your challenge is to equal Sir Alex's trophy haul, there are several ways you can do this;
The Easy Way: - Start with the now manager-less Manchester United and continue the Red Devils's dominance of English football for another quarter of a century.
The Moderate Way: - Begin with a mid table English club who haven't won a league title in over 25 years and turn them into world beaters, developing several generations of new superstars along the way.
The Fergie Way: - Beginning in the Scottish Championship, take charge of any side for a season (SAF started at East Stirlingshire) You do not need to win a trophy here, eventually move on to a bigger Championship club (SAF: St. Mirren) and guide them to promotion. Eventually take over at an SPL side that is not a part of the Old Firm (SAF: Aberdeen), emulating the great man here will be the toughest part of the challenge, particularly in Europe (You'll be going for the Europa League instead of the now defunct Cup winners cup) Finally, after checking of Scotland you can move South of the border, taking on a fallen giant side from the Premiership (SAF: Manchester United) and guiding them to the staggering haul of silverware that Mr. Ferguson has amassed in the last 27 years.
-Start with professional footballer set as your experience level.
-You may manage the Scottish national side during the course of your career as Sir Alex did briefly.
-Remember, Fergie's rule #1, No player is bigger than the club! if some prima donna starts acting up, give him the boot.
-If you manage to win the treble, you earn the right to nickname yourself 'Sir'

The pentagon challenge has been around a long time now, but only those with the patience of a saint and the managerial skill of a god have managed to complete it.
All you have to do is collect all five champions league trophy’s in one save after beginning unemployed with a Sunday league reputation, this may sound straight forward and in theory it is, but in practice it could take 20+ years to check off all five.
It's up to you where you start off, I recommend downloading plenty of additional leagues and loading as many as your computer can handle to give yourself as many options as possible as you go along.
For masochists out there, you can make the pentagon even more difficult by extending it to a Hexagon, you will need to find editor data for it somewhere but it's possible to also compete in the OFC Champions League if you download New Zealand or any other Oceania nation.
You might also consider an international Hexagon by collecting all six continental championships, or even a double Hexagon with both club and international titles on your radar!

Anyone fancying conquering Britain?
For a fourth year running the British Steel challenge returns to Susie only this year there is a slight change with it! The challenge is no longer unbeaten following Gendo's success last year ticking off all thirty six trophies on a long, windy path! But can you be the one to challenge him and put your name down on the all times great list to have ever conquered Britain?
So what is the challenge: You have to win every trophy from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland in any order you want. However you must only use British and Irish players!
The challenge is made a little easier by counting promotion from finishing second in the league, or via the playoffs as the title but this is your choice. Any success in Europe or with the national teams are just an added note on your history but won't count towards this challenge.
Below is a the challenge leaderboard, once we get people on to the challenge we will add your name and a link to your story should you start one so people can follow it easily. Once you've won a trophy be it league or cup, I will need to see a screenshot for it to count.
Rules:
- Only use British and Irish players
- Must start with Sunday League Reputation
- You may start at a club or start unemployed, your choice
- You MUST send me a screenshot of each trophy won for it to count
Below is the list of playable trophy's within the game when you load all the home nations.(Downloaded competitions and expansions are not allowed)England
Fa Trophy, Vanarama North/South, Vanarama Premiership, Johnson's Paint trophy, nPower League Two, nPower League One, nPower Championship, League Cup, Community Shield, FA Cup, Premiership
Scotland
Challenge Cup, League Two, League One, Championship, League Cup, Scottish Cup, Premiership
Ireland
Munster Senior cup, Division 1, League cup, Senior Challenge Cup, Premiership
Northern Ireland
Mid-Ulster Cup, Steel & Son's cup, Interim cup, County Antrim Shield, Division two, First division, League Cup, FA cup, Setanta Cup, Premiership
Wales
League Cup, FAW cup, Premiership
All the best to all the challengers....

1. I will repeat. Pulis is in the game (note the spelling too, you might well be spelling his name incorrectly). You will need to play on the largest database and probably have Wales loaded too.
2. It does I'm afraid. You delete the certain files or add certain files. http://bit.ly/1scQPx7 or http://bit.ly/1scR77d will help

Value is set by the game not by pr0.
Pulis is in the game! You might need to increase the DB size, in the editor he appears.
Van Gaal is called Jan Jensen because of a licensing issue. If you looked it up in Google you would find the solution.
Also what's great about pr0's update is that you can select and choose what you want to use and you are not lumbered with PA / CA changes like in the update you have mentioned.
To be fair your post did come across like that. To be honest the update is pretty good to be fair. Can't complain when someone is doing it out of their own time. My argument is if you are not happy then do one yourself.
