Does anybody have any players on free transfers or very cheap that can help me and my Salford side in the vanarama north?

I signed Lee Trundle which i was happy with, i'm hoping he turns out to be a cracking signing despite his age!

I found Ben Marshall from Blackburn was a great player on the game, right winger. Also Abel Hernandez from Hull scored for fun!

When i thought it was £40m, i got an extra £39 mill parachute payments so sitting with £80m in the bank and making money every month i think i'm going to do just that & stay, try get promotion again. It's hard though because all of my attention has been with the Uruguay squad for the world cup so i'm going to resign as soon as it's finished.

I took the Uruguay job as i've never managed a national team before and with the world cup coming up i thought i could increase my reputation & try go for a bigger club sooner.

I had an easy group in Iceland, Japan & Ukraine so i won all 3. Then got Iran so i won that too, and then came South Africa in the quarters, won that 3-2. Semi final v Argentina i haven't played yet but i'm expecting a defeat. So worst case scenario i got Uruguay to the semi's!

I'm in limbo over what to do in my future FM career. I've just finished the end of the 3rd season with Blackburn Rovers.

1st season - Playoff semi - Lost
2nd season - won league & promoted to premiership
3rd season - relegated - finished 19th,back down to Championship.

It's summer, & i applied for the Uruguay job and got it, i'm just currently in the group stages of world cup and have won 2 out of 2. My reputation is average and probably what is expected for a Blackburn Rovers manager. I feel like i don't want to manage in the championship and don't know whether to resign or just stick it out for a while longer & see what i can do in the future?

My bank balance is healthy at £40m & a few stars such as Ravel Morrison will fetch me £8/£9m yet too..

Oh the collapse at the end of last season!! Still waiting on first champions league appearance then, do you think you'll do it? Who did you sign/sell? What are your finances like?

I've got a game going with Blackburn Rovers (2nd season now) & A.Hernandez absolutely ripped up the championship league for Hull, has he done the same for you?

Also i would recommend Chris Marshall as a great right winger on the game!

I'm manager of Blackburn also, only in November though so fair way behind you. I'm in 6th at the minute having signed no players (hopefully get some free's & loans in January)

Just a quick one, how are you playing Rhodes, i have him as Poacher, but he's offside 4/5 times a game, & i'm trying to train his positioning but to no success so far.

hi guys, been applying for NOMS as a prison officer, had my recruitment assesment day today and think it went fairly well. Just wondering as it's pretty unclear so far, and I also forgot to ask today, but doesn't anybody know what the shift patterns tend to be like? Like days,nights etc. I know it will probably depend on the prison but I bet there's a general shift pattern like.

Tried it, deleted it haha. Accrington Stanley in league 2, halfway through season couldn't get into it, was just too difficult. Blackburn rovers I haven't started one with, probably will do in the future at some point!

Going to be starting a new game with Newcastle when I get home from work. Looking forward to getting on with it, has anybody got any tips or hints I.e formations, young stars, tactics etc. & where's a realistic place to finish, around 9/10th?

Agreed, i beat juventus 4-0 then in the return leg they beat me 4-0 haha inconsistency is killing me!

i think it's brilliant, only very early on so still trying to master things. Not sure whether there is too much detail involved or whether i'm just not quite used to it yet, but looks brilliant.

Kits and logo's are a must though.

I found it hard at first, struggled with united getting beat 3 of first 4 games, but since then i've found it slightly easier, just tweak tactics and use more skill and take your time.
