After an enjoyable start with FM26 (rescuing a rudderless Huddersfield from relegation), my pesky real life family and job got in the way and I fell out of the game. 

 

Now I'm back, and have freshly reinstalled version 26.3.0 and I'm raring to go. I've got a bit of time over the next few days to get the game nodded before I jump in again.

 

I normally get the real name fix, a big facepack, badges, trophies etc, but I've yet to use FMMloader (or a similar mod manager) and I like the look of Bassyboy's stadia. Skins too. 

 

I've got a pretty powerful laptop and usually go with a large database (over 100,000 players). 

 

So I know this will be subjective, but my question is: 

 

What mods would you suggest I install? 

What are the must-haves?

i find it easier just to find a face i like in my cutout facepack and allocate to the ID

 

i use Flut Skin, which has an ID button

I got there eventually…

 

I went into my CutOut Facepack as you suggested, found a decent image in there and re-named it to the UID of my press officer.

Reloaded the skin.

Didn't work.

 

Then I remembered about the config file, and that r- trick for newgens.

Added a line into the Config File:

 

And success!

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this?

 

I've installed quite a few mods and everything in the game is pretty good, other than the bloody awful images of my personal assistant (that's all I have right now as I've re-started as unemployed).

 

 

So I've got her UID.

 

In my graphics folder, I created a new folder called “PA and Press Officer”. 

I found an image from another facepack I had downloaded and renamed it to be the same as the UID for the generated press officer image.

 

I then made my own Config file by copying the text from another facepack, deleting most of it and inserting the new line of code (third line from the bottom).

 

 

I reloaded the skin but nothing changed.

 

I've also tried inserting the r- as I think the generated press officer face might be a regen face, so I change the line to:

 

 

But that didn't work either and I'm totally stuck.

 

I'm using Zealand's AI face regens. Could that be an issue?
