British TV series Peep Show character Super Hans, known for his addiction to crack and romance, attempts to win the Champions League in 5 different continents- starting unemployed and with a Sunday League reputation.


I'd imagine we're going nowhere with this but Sixth Form doesn't start back until Monday and I've loaded 42 nations so here we go...

First game ended 0-0, had 3 clear-cut chances that we managed to squander with great ease.

Squad's still a bit shite as it's semi-pro; and we have not seemed to learn tactics despite match prep being tactics all through pre-season... Reserve sides fucking me over in pre-season; a mix of Premier Division players and 17 year old wonderkids, but FM doesn't register this and presumes I'm playing the Happy Foundation = shit morale for the inevitable defeats.

Anyway, it's nearly the start of the new season and I'm as pessimistic as always.

Cheers; 4-1-3-1-1 is going to be the way we go, turning into a 3-5-1-1 in attack, with the anchor man dropping deep and the wing-backs pushing past the wingers. Ooo isn't this fun, not shaving until I've won the Champions League like.

Haway Ålgård then; got a string of friendlies against reserve teams before contesting in the 3rd tier... we have to win the title to get promoted, so I can this being a series of more bollocks than before!

3 wins out of 5 and still there! At least there's no chance of automatic relegation; and I'm sure that form would be enough with other teams bound to slip up.

Right then, can someone tell me why this is going to fail; because I know it inevitably will but really can't be arsed doing a thousand shouts and player instructions and the rest; never tried it before.

We've brought in a fair few players, released a fair few and we have coaches at this club. This club's areet then.

Pt. 1

Here we go again... after the disappointment of the last career (probably a knee-jerk reaction but c'est la vie), we're back in Scandinavia to do it properly.
Going to start unemployed with a Sunday League rep again; probably going to avoid Skelleftea (for now).



Aims are,
win the domestic leagues (negligible cups) in
-Finland
-Iceland
-Norway
-Sweden
-Denmark
and eventually win the Champions League hopefully.

Yep, I probably won't, and I might end up skewing from the plan itself, but we'll see, I like Scandinavia so we may as well go again.
Still struggling with this fkn tactic system though, any suggestions?

I'm definitely a fan of managing from these lower leagues, and I've always just liked Scandinavia; I'll probably go again soon enough, just need to properly think it through this time round.

Cheers Dan, but the save has crashed and the last save was back when I was Skell manager- so I don't feel the motivation to continue with this.

Quick background check on the club;
We were predicted to finish 10th, and are in 7th as I take charge. 15 games to go in this 12 team league. We are 11 points ahead of 11th place (relegation zone), and 6 points off 2nd place (promotion). The previous manager wasn't sacked, he was doing exceptionally well and moved to a better club; so there's a bit of pressure on here.

We're predicted to just edge off relegation, but hopefully we can do more than that; promotion this year at least may be out of our reach, but a strong 15 matches would be nice.

Big bids for him there; I'm sure he'll progress to be worth a lot more than that in a few years time.

Skelleftea is like an ex to me.
I really spent loads of time with her, she was great and I was great at the peaks, but eventually it just became monotonous, it wasn't working, and despite looking good on the surface, it was never fine and never going to last forever.
Now, she's wearing all the stuff I bought (players, staff remaining there), but getting new clothes, new happiness, with another man. I shouldn't care, and I do wish her all the best; but deep down, I hope she gets hit by a car.

Very mixed feelings about that club.

This club accepts my youth requests... I like this club.

We've found a new club. First Division Danish side Boldklubben Marienlyst with the approach... we're currently in the midst of a 4 month winter break, which is in hindsight going to be shite; but it's given me time to look at the squad, though with a -£600 wage budget, it's going to be tricky to make adjustments.
The media were absolutely shocked I lowered myself to these... which is bizarre as I've basically swapped Swedish second tier.. for Danish second tier, can't be too much of a difference.
These are semi-professional though, and aren't as strong as Skell, and we're missing quite a few players in certain positions... but we shall see won't we?
The club has a really average stature in the game, and we're on the brink of relegation with around half a season to go, raring to go; maybe we'll get these in to the top domestic tier? Time will tell...

Oh, and Michael Ballack was, as previously noted, raring to be aside me, he's our assistant manager. Hollywood of Denmark, us. Haway Marienlyst!

DanW19; you're telling me! 11 without a win and we stayed top from MD1 to MD 23, incredible really. It fit the theme of my management career though, signs of promise but always that inevitably that I'd fuck it up in the end.
Eric: Laugh all you can, I've laughed at it now, to think that I could go 11 without a win.

They ended up finishing 2nd, winning 3 of their last 4 (yeah I'm shit I don't need you to point it out... please don't point it out).
But... their top CB (Kone) wanted out from March cos' he thought he was bigger than the club- and is leaving in December. Their top DM put a transfer request in, their top CM leaves in December and as does their 5* striker, as well as much of the coaching staff. I don't know whether I want them to survive and thrive, or fall tragically back through the divisions. It doesn't matter really; I don't know whether I'll be getting another job on this save but I may as well persist and see if anyone offers me anything... I mean, a promotion and 23 matchdays on top warrants a big job?!

Some Icelandic 'Premier' League side offered me the job, just before I accepted it, it turned out they finished bottom last season and it hadn't updated to show they'd be playing First Division football next year. Que sera eh? We move on...

We were top. We were cruising. Allsvenskan was there, waiting. We were 7 points ahead of 3rd place.

Again, we were leading at the 87th. We lost. 11 league matches without a win.

Nah. My man has exams, stresses have overcame me. We've had some emotional play-off results; but to have thrown the title in such a manner... no, it was a step too far.

How can a team that was leading the table by 5 points, fail to win in 9 matches? How? How? How? How? How?
