Actually, maybe not, because Juan Iturbe is an absolute monster of a player, in real-life as well, he is my favourite player atm. I can see him becoming really big in the next 5 years if he gets his act together and moves from Porto.

The Germans take the competition more seriously than any nation. Perhaps not Spain but it's a big deal over there. Italy and France you have a point but even now the hierachy at their clubs seem to promote a competitive run in the EL.

We were superb for the most part. It's just a 20 minute period that we completely shut down and got punished big time. If we can take full concentration into each game then we become a force, but the loss of it is a recurring trend.

Crappy mentality from some members here. We should really value the Europa League, most clubs do, it's just an English mentality that they are superior to the competition.

Nevertheless, superb performance and nothing to be ashamed of.

I'd say we need 2 wins or at least 6 points to qualify, maybe 7pts, so roughly 9/10 in total.

We need at least 3 points from both Anzhi matches, and then we need a win over Young Boys or Udinese. This would see us progress, and our performance tonight suggests that we can, just so unlucky about the result.

Relatively strong team to face Udinese:

Reina; Johnson, Coates, Carragher, Robinson; Henderson, Allen, Shelvey; Assaidi, Downing, Borini.

I would have preferred Suso, Sterling and Coady, and that 16 year old to start but that is a very strong team.

I want to see Assaidi rip shit up.

Definitely is. I had a 84 rated team but with low chemistry it meant near to nothing. Now this 78 rated skills side, with 100 chem is doing really well.

Dortmund can and should still progress. Home against Real is a match where they need at least a point, and they must win at away against Ajax and City, then, they almost certainly should advance.

So unlucky for them though, I really love their side.

And the only really good players I've got from packs were Nasri and Marcelo. I got a few good players but I've been playing matches, and doing a lot of trading, trust me I'm not sad enough to put my money on (the money that was on was remaining).
