That's good to hear, I know sweet FA about most of our new players, so it's good to hear a review from someone who knows about one of them! I think he'll be a winger rather than a fullback anyway, so that's good!

I remember reading in one of The Secret Footballer's books that when they were bored during the transfer window, him and a group of mates would make up shit rumours about each other and try and get Sky Sports to run with it, often using each other as their "source" so that when Sky rung to verify it was true, they could say yes.

Cheapest is £365 but most are £578 (behind the goals) or £710 (along the sides).

Your cheapest is the same as our dearest, although ours is the same price wherever. £710 is a fucking lot of money for them to charge! I wouldn't bloody renew for that price when none of it is seemingly going back into the team.

Apparently ITV are the favourites to sign Jeremy, James and Richard although Netflix and Amazon are also interested. Thankfully Sky have already said they're not going to try and sign them up. If they do go to ITV, I agree with you, they will get all the viewers and Top Gear will suffer. Those three made it what it is, so its going to be weird seeing them kill the show that they made so popular.

Only problem that I've seen mentioned about them going to ITV as opposed to Netflix, is that there's always a chance they could upset advertisers for ITV by slagging off their product (i.e. a car) on their show; although I'd hope everyone would be big enough to realise it's just piss-taking.

What happens when we sign a player is this: our club's Twitter account "leaks" "clues" on Twitter in the form of pictures that have something to do with a player's name, or a video that does too. Two nights ago they posted a clip from the Alvin and the Chipmunks where they basically rip off Cinderella. One of the Chipmunks is called David and Cinderella goes to a Ball.

Great cryptic clue? Nah, apparently it was just someone's 3 year old who posted it by accident and we're not actually signing David Ball. Our club's a fucking tinpot joke sometimes.

We've only got two friendlies announced so far, and one hasn't been announced whether it's the first team or not, I think it's been penned as an "Argyle XI" so far. Both local games vs, Torquay and the Argyle eleven vs, Truro, which is handy for me.

Yeah I reckon so. Quite a lot of tits in it this season too, compared to the last, gets quite interesting, though there's some tedious story lines in there.
