I 'm having a problem removing leagues from my game. in previous games I have added and removed leagues without any issues but this time it won't let me remove any leagues because the game is exceeding the player limit.

I am using an update so that the English leagues go down to level 11 but the reason I think this happened is that I ticked the box so that players and staff were added to teams that had none when setting up the game.

It seems like madness that there are too many players so it won't let me remove leagues. Is there any way I can fix this?

If you play as a bigger team do you get offered them every season to save you having to arrange anything?

I was just wondering if there was any way to arrange a pre season training camp or if it is something that the board arrange and you don't have any say in the matter?

I'm Pretty boring and go Motherwell in pretty much every game and I've only ever had 1 or 2 in this game so it might be because they have a lowish rep at the start of the game.

Some of the decisions by players are mental I have a German and Spaniard that are NEVER going to get called up and also never capped at under 21 level rejecting call ups!

Hey, I have started a game with Ireland and I have used the editor to change the amount of years it takes to gain the nationality to 1 year.

That all works fine and some players decide to take up Irish as a second nationality and others don't which is fine but no one that has exepted irish as thier nationality will accept a call up.

I think this is due to the nations reputation being fairly low and I was wondering if this improves over time if you stay high enough in the rankings?

I know its a fairly random question but hopefully someone knows

How long can you realisticly keep it going for?

Hey, I have had several backup goalkeepers over the past decade in my game and I can keep non of them happy. I always have their squad status as backup for the first team!

Turns out that all my regens that i got through were terrible so i released all of them and I had poor youth coaches so i sacked them and brought in new ones. When I brought in the new ones dispite the fact they had good stats their star ratings were really low but as soon as the next batch or regens through and they had people to train there ratings increased significantly so all is good!!

Hey I was wondering if potential ability increases in young players if as they develop the same way that older players potential decreases?

all my coaches have national status so I dont think that is a problem in this instance




I will give them a bash I am 10 years in to the game so hopefully they aren't too old

surely someone can help me?

Hey, I'm trying to focus on developing my own youth but I am finding it impossible to get decent youth coaches. I look for the normal determination,discipline,motivating, whatever attribute needed for assignment(attacking or defending ect) and finally working with youngsters but I cant get more than 2.5 stars! Where am I going wrong?

I think the game realises that you have done that and doesnt give you the job! In other games I have done that and really poor managers tend to get the job!

It never worked at all! The only thing that happened is both teams played badly due to the players being knackered!!

I played then 14 times in 14 days before the euro championship and I won all but 3 which I ended up being draws so hopefully he gets the sack after the competition!

Hey, In my current game I have had a couple of international jobs firstly Paraguay and now Norway but I really want the Scotland job!

My plan is in the run up to the european championships which we are both in I am planning on playing them loads in frendlies in an effort to get strachan sacked!

My question is will the Scotland board take friendly results in to consideration when assessing a managers performance?

Long story short if I beat them in most of the game are they likely to sack the manager?

Motherwell have probably the second best team in the league no debt either as well which is good! The only problem that the budget is very tight but you can just sell Randolf for about 2/2.5 million(normally to chelsea) and sign Cammy Bell from Kilmarnock for less than half a million!

So i thought I would be a smart ar$e and offer a good few hundred freebies a trial now when I continue it is crashing every couple of days. If i try and end the trials the game crashes as well is there any way for me to stop this happening?

in my motherwell game i was just told the team are going to one. i think it was in austria or switzerland.

its a while back but it was champ manager 01/02.


i had played champ manager 2 before that but 01/02 was the game that got me hooked!!!

Hey, I was wondering if there was any way of creating an All-star team similar to Scottish Football League XI for several different leagues? I was thinking the home nations plus the likes of Spain, Italy, germany ect.

I was wondering if it could be set up like a knock out tournement at the end of every season and if not just a simple one off game between the Scottish leagues and the English leagues. I know its a bit of a strange quiery but they have the MLS all-star teams in the game so I thought this may be possible.

Hey, At the start of each season I like to take quite a few players on trail but for some reason a message comes up saying
"offer a trail to 9 players?" which is fine but below that it says "you are unable to offer trials to" then it lists the players I can't offer a trial.

Why does this happen and what is stopping me offering them a trial?

I'm playing in the SPL and I'm giving Celtic a run for their money must be because I'm good at the game!!
