Also, in my savegame I'm so far away from any possble date for a trophy lifting occation (in a match of my own or that of another club/league) that I haven't been able to test and confirm that my forementioned theory truly holds water. My apologies for that, but I sense I might be onto something.

The podiums changed on FM23 though mate so I don't think they would work, I found the path for them as per below, but they are different now.

Not exactly for the use of your backgrounds Dazs, just a workaround to get something to work though…

"You need to extract 'simatchviewer' with the resource archiver and place the folder in the game data folder (not my documents).

In the simatchviewer folder, the files within art>logos are what are shown on the press conferences, so you can change these to whatever you want.

Quick example below, i've just replaced 'fm full.png' and 'si badge logo.png' with 3 different sponsors in each file and this shows on both the tunnel press conference and the post match press conference.

The colour of the squares change based on the primary/secondary colour of the club and competition so assume there must be a file somewhere that controls this that could be edited further."

Hi everyone,

I'm just having some crisis with the FM Peter Drury Audio Commentary.
The file is amazing, the level of detail it brings to the game is spectacular but I'm having trouble with the size of it apparently.
When I install it, the game is taking about 2 minutes to load into the match as below screenshot, when it's suppose to take approx 15-20 seconds.
I know the file got bigger from last year and all but my MSI laptop runs FM22 on the highest graphics and it's also fast to get through the processing days so can't really understand what's going on here for me.

Can't come across a single person who's experiencing this.
I've cleared and deleted cache, verified files through steam, removed all skins and still nothing.
The only thing that reduce loading time is if I decrease the number of files in the sound pack which originally is 2888. So I guess it has something to do with the size of the file... but I don't know what ways I could try for it to work properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Guys can you please let me know how it works out for you?
It's an exceptional job! Love it! Can't imagine myself playing FM without it but I'm having an issue this year, it's taking forever to load into a match and I don't have a shitty laptop. It should take up to 10-15 seconds.

I've tried the art\environments\shared_textures location and can confirm it works.

It's a shame you can have multiples, but thats down to SI.

have a try of it here this is how it is in the simatchviewer-pc folder Ive not tried it as i don't use it

here is the 2 folders from simatchviewer-pc i don't know if the files what have been made for fm21 as to be renamed but it just a sample to show you how the files are in the folder and if they are the same as the ones that have been made for FM21

Is it something simple like the file path has just been altered? I just downloaded the new Fez enhanced turf textures (FM22) and it seems to be in the new file path of; /Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2022/art.

Historically the pitch textures folder was kept in the same area as my podiums. I haven't had time to try this out yet. Might be worth someone giving it a go by placing the podium folder inside the art folder. Just an idea ………….

I will try to get a better look with the resource archiver later today
