Ben Foster's ID is 2002042223 right now as a newly created player. I suppose I need to change image's ID to this particular ID when I download it, right? And after that to create a config.xml file? Thank you again.

Hi to all! I didn't know where to post this, but here it is:

 

With the latest Data Update veteran goalkeeper, Ben Foster, is at Wrexham as a newly created player, since he was a retired person when FM23 was released. The problem is he has not have a cut-out image. Is there a way to use a cut-out image for him, for example, with images from previous versions? Thanks in advance! 

Hi to everyone! I have the 23.3 version and today I tried to install the hotfix 23.3.1 that have released on 7/3 but it doesn't update. I've tried restarting Steam and nothing happens. I also tried to verify the game cache and it said ''69 files failed to verify''!!! I tried the same way for a second time and it said ‘’that all files are verified. I launched FM23 again, but my home screen says that my version is STILL 23.3.

 

What else can I do?? Thanks in advance!

After downloading the latest facepack update and downloading the latest update from SI, I cannot see the faces from France National team. However, when I go to PSG's page I can see the face for example Mbappe's correctly. Is there any solution for that? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys! Since yesterday, I'm trying to contribute to the Cut-Out Megapack with some up to date images for some players of Bromley FC, but unfortunately they're not good enough to be included, due to low resolution. Is there anyone who might want to help me? Thanks in advance! 😀

@DimiZag These are too small to be improvements unfortunately, especially here where he has had a very recent and high quality cut already

 

Too bad! I've already uploaded a couple of images from some other players of Bromley too, so I guess they're not good enough also!

We always aim to have the base pack out before the beta drops. This year, we did so on the same day but it's pure coincidence. We aim to have an update pack out including cuts for players newly-added to FM22 before the full game is released on 9 November.

 

So, I guess we extract the torrent file to our ‘’faces'' folder and then ovewright the already existing faces with the new ones, Am I right? Thanks again!

Delete it then, you clearly don't need it. I don't know if it'll work because I don't know exactly what you've done. Is there a sub-folder in the faces folder? What about the images from your pack, where have you put them?

 

You don't need to put the images from the last megapack update, just the config file.

No, there's no sub-folder in the faces folder and the images from my pack were putted in the faces folder with their config, as I said in a previous message. I just overwritten every file I was asked to do so from my computer.

If you don't have any part of the megapack yet, you first have to download the torrent file for the 13.0 base pack, then download and install the 11 update packs released to date chronologically.

 

 

 

You have two config files in there, so I suspect that is the issue. Which is the last megapack update you downloaded? Download that update pack, and use the config file from it, while deleting the other one.

 

The config (2) file is in this folder since 2016 (!!!) and I never had any issue before. I update my Cut-Out Megapack folder always with the latest update, so yes, I have the last megapack update. So if I put the last megapack update AGAIN in my Cut-Out Megapack folder, the problem will be solved?

If you replaced an existing megapack cut with a new one, then you didn't need to edit the config file. If you added a new image, it is recommended that you do so in a new sub-folder with a new config file in order to avoid the situation you've described.

 

What changes did you do and what did you amend in the config file? Can we have a screenshot of your megapack folder? Perhaps I can see what's wrong there.

Well, I made a facepack for AFC Wimbledon (as you may see in the attachments), in order to overwrite the existing faces from Cut-Out Megapack. So I selected ALL the files in the folder, including the config file and placed them into the Cut-Out folder as you can see in the pic below.

 

Soooo I decided to make my own changes in some players' faces in my cut-out megapack (following the instructions about FMXML) and unfortunately everything gone utterly wrong. To be more specific, every single face does not appear and I have the classic black face for every player! Of course I did the usual steps (Click the "Clear Cache" button. Enable "Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences". Click the "Reload Skin" button. etc etc)

 

Any ideas how to fix it??

Just like in the previous years, I downloaded your Fix Files. I followed every step correctly, but when I start a new career, I keep having those fake names for the german teams. PS: I have the 19.1.1. version of the game. Any chance of solving this, except doing this from the Notepad?
