Hello, guys!

 

Can someone remind me, now that a new update has been released, do i need to install the editor data files again or just the base files?

You can, but there's no harm in replacing editor data files anyway, just in case you want to start a new game and forget to reinstall this fix.

 

Once a save game is started, the contents of the editor data folder are immaterial.

Mons, thank you for your work and effort. I apologise if this has been asked and answered, but if I've begun a save and simply wish to update the file, can I do so and leave the editor files as they are? My understanding is that the editor data files require a new save to work properly; if I replace those files, will i expereince issues in my current save?

Do we have to download again this patch now we the new update?

 

I think you have to reapply the patch.

I have 2 questions:

Firstly, I am not seeing these “Editor Data Files” in the download. Where can I find them

Secondly, for the 2300. 2330, and 2340 files. There is only a dbc and lnc file. Does this mean we only replace these 2, or do we add the edt file in also (when prepping a game for FM23 to FM24)

 

Hey! Until the full game releaes, Mons is unable to alter the data - no editor until today; you'll have to wait a bit, i'm afraid. Secondly, just hang on for the updated file, then replace the two folders and add the new editor file (not yet relased). But you only need bother with 2400 file unless you're running a career from FM2023.

Guys, can I please refer you to the head of the page; there is tells you the date the file was last updated and the version. Mons cannot add the editor data files when the editor was not available until a couple of hours ago. Also, he mentioned earlier that he had plans for early evening. Before posting, please check the file version and date it was released.

“I will be out early in the evening today, unfortunately, but I have everything in place to quickly convert the FM23 editor data files to be used in FM24 once I get my hands on the FM24 editor.”

Hello guys! Quick question: can I simply use the file that is available NOW. or must I wait for the updated file from Mons? I realise the database files won't be avaialble for install.

P.S. I'm still confused about the folder 2110. I placed the new files in here (there was no 2110_fm folder) anyway.

I would like to say something. Mons is providing this file - his time, essentially - completely free of charge. And although a few of us offer our thanks, way too many, I feel, take this for granted.

Mons, I have a folder - 2110 with only a "dbc" file. Should I delete and copy all three in the download here too?

Having the same issue, unfortunately. Trying to download the full megapack at a speed of 300 K/bs. This is the first time I've ever encountered this. Tried to restart my system, browser etc, even cleared my cache, but to no avail.

Hey guys,

Started several new saves to check this - Man City, Spurs, and Arsenal, and it seems that playing as Liverpool does appear to offer the chance to introduce yourself to the squad at the start of the game. Strange.
