The reason why setting the game language to English is mandatory during the new career setup process is actually this: in the game, data changes are sometimes defined by numbers, but other times they are defined as text. Essentially, if certain data is modified in a specific language, those changes are tied to that language. If you don't use the matching language, some of those data modifications simply won't reflect in the game.

The CA/PA data and attributes have been updated for FM24 based on the FM26 Winter Update. Please delete the old '5edT_CA-PA_Attributes_EN.fmf' file and use the new '5edT_v3-CA-PA_Attributes_EN.fmf' instead.

Could you share the site/URL for the Turkish platform you mentioned? I know that there is big money in Turkish football and therefore salaries can be quite high - I suspect this is one of those nations that, in-game, would benefit from some manual adjustments. I agree with you about Capology as well.

If I have sources to consult, I'm happy to try and apply changes for some of the high-profile January transfers, for example. Of course, there have been loads so I can't go through every single one - but anything to try and make the data better.

this is the link but here you only see the transfer results of 4 giants from Turkiye (FB, GS, BJK, TS) since they are publicly traded company and obligated to report to the stock exchange. So not all the transfer results are reported but the high signings.

For instance, Fenerbahce announced 11 M euros salary for Kante while 14.4 M euros for signing fee. (for 2.5 years)

So in my save, I adjusted Kante's annual salary as 11 M euros and 4.8 M euros (14.4/3) bonus for each year.

But for the rest of the world, I use Capalogy or sometimes Fabrizio as reference 🙂

While it's absolutely clear to me that all of these players will be on significantly-improved wages following their transfers, I think the real and fundamental issue is being able to reference a reasonable source to put an accurate figure behind what it needs to change to.

If I look at Ademola Lookman as an example, I quickly find a source that suggests he's on £200,000 per week, whilst Google's AI summary puts the same player's salary at closer to £120,000 per week. I don't see either of these as particularly official - of course they're indicative, at best.

What should we do? Split the difference and estimate it in the middle? Go for the higher one/lower one? It's a similar story with any other player - the reported figures vary and, fundamentally, aren't official.

As a member of the staff team here, I'm in the pool of people happy to help and to do it - but it just needs a sensible/consistent approach, I think.

indeed, it's sometimes difficult to get the right context especially where we don't have the official resources.

I usually check the official websites or resources (for example it is mandatory to publish it on Public Disclosure Platform in Turkey)

for the other transfers, I found two sites which are more trustable than X or social media but even here it seems 2 different value for Lookman :

Only mods can set wages because there's too much back and forth arguing if we let people submit wages on individual submissions.

We generally let the game set a realistic default and only set custom wages when it's obviously wrong and causing an issue e.g. Kevin De Bruyne at Napoli the game was never setting a realistic wage.

If you can highlight specific issues that are occurring a mod can look into it.

well mostly I play with Turkish Super League and I immediately observed that winter transfers are not showing the correct (last) values. I only checked the biggest transfers for instance;

Lookman > 2,3 M euro (salary from Atalanta)

Guendouzi > 1,6 M euro (salary from Lazio)

Guehi > 2,7 M euro (salary from C.Palace)

I already adjusted them manually for myself but I can also assist if needed

Open the nation file in the editor.
Go to Advanced Rules and click on the competition.
Go to Match Schedules and Rules.
Go to League Matches and see how the line is laid out. You can replicate this system in any league you want.

The only downside is that you then have to enter them manually because if you go back to the Advanced Rules, you'll erase my changes.

I've just had a quick look in the Pre-Game Editor and one obvious limitation is the fact that the Euro Coefficients can only be set up-to-and-including the 2022/23 season.

At a basic level, that would prevent a meaningful/accurate implementation for the ‘No Date Changes’ / future start date version.

I also have the same question.

I opened RR_XXX.fmf file but I can't see anything related to the real results or fixture.

How do you actually edit and enter the results? I'd like to do it by myself for lower leagues but I have no clue.

I've noticed that you've posted about this in a couple of the threads - apologies, I haven't had a chance to reply in any of those other areas.

Broadly speaking, I agree it would be great to reflect the coefficients over the past two years - because with the Data Update, the purpose is to reflect reality. However, in terms of including this in the Data Update officially, there's a bit of planning and some considerations we'd need to make.

For example, in the ‘standard’ method of using the Data Update (which retains a start year of 2023 in-game), what we'd need to do is offset all of the historical records and then append 2023/24 and 2024/25 (represented in-game by 2021/22 and 2022/2023) accordingly.

Conversely, to support the same exercise for the ‘No Date Changes’ update (which I will assume you are using, alongside a custom, future start date to enable a 2025 start in-game), the activity is similar but without offsetting the historical records. So it is just a case of adding the new records in.

Theoretically, both of these scenarios would work (I think). However, how much work is involved in making the files (manually) or even making the files (systematically/automatically) is the unknown.

My assumption is that UEFA (or some other official source) maintain a published list of the values, which would at least give us a data source to start from. Having had a quick look at the UEFA website, it does seem like the records are pretty comprehensive.

Indeed, using ‘No Date Changes’ update just like many people in order to feel the “real world time” in FM2024 and I'm sure I'm not the single one paying attention to all these small things which matters in my opinion (although it's just a game but not an ordinary game 🙂 )

Well, I can be volunteer to cover such a study for the community but don't know how/where to start from… I mean I know how to use editor and handle some stuff manually but if there is any tool or procedure could help to make it easier, sure thing I can start working on it and share with the community afterwards.

when start the new game in 2025, all the clubs have 0.00 points for last two years :-/

Since I gave-up with FM26, I want to have a real up-to-date experience in FM 2024. I couldn't find something similar in communities but maybe someone did it for sake of football love! 🙂

Okay this has puzzled me a bit but I think I solved it. It seems like back in July 2022 I hard coded something to always skip over loan wage percentage and i've only just rediscovered this. Unfortunately I can't remember why I did that, I assume it was causing problems but I can't find any notes or threads from that time to remind myself.

I've disabled it for now and it should definitely be in the next update now.

I've confirmed this via the “live” update which has Jhon Duran at 100% wage percentage.

Free users will have to wait till the overnight update.

If anyone spots some with existing issues please report specific player names (and preferably IDs) rather than saying something vague like “i've noticed some players still aren't working”. Thanks alot 🙂

Just incase some people are annoyed or confused by the constant back and forth i'd like to explain that it's possible for me to write and deploy code from pretty much anywhere at any time, but it's not always possible for me to load up FM and test these things, so I really appreciate you guys testing it and giving feedback, but also i'm sorry you have to do that ideally i'd only ever deploy things that are 100% confirmed working.

FM severlerin böyle bir talebi vardı fakat kimse yapmamış ya da yapamamıştı. Bazı benzer çalışmalar olsa da bunlar resmi FM26 verileri değildi; üstelik ücretli olanlar da vardı. Ben ise FM26 verilerini FM24’e bire bir dönüştürdüm ve bunu hiçbir karşılık beklemeden, gönüllü olarak yaptım. Veri sayısı düşünüldüğünde (CA-PA, Özellikler, Pozisyonlar vb.) tüm bu verileri tek tek ele alarak dönüştürmek veya güncellemek pek mümkün değil. Sana, İyi Eğlenceler! 🙂
