Yes it should be Clivenese you should never set a player to a club marked as “Extinct” as they're no longer in the game.

I've now updated Clivenese's name to be ChievoVerona and searching for either name should bring up the correct result.

Media Predictions removes the predicted league position that's in there which affects fan and board happiness, Remove bans removes bans from players who were banned in July 2023. Transfer cluases adds/removes player transfer clauses adds buy back clauses and installments for club finances and transfer values just in the player history screen.

Pretty sure they should be compatible with Daveinc realism fix, the other “league updates” you refer too is top vague to give an answer

The home page only shows packs that have been updated in the past 6 months, I can't remember why it is that way to be honest.

In regards updating the 2022 packs, that might cause some issues simply because the system isn't designed to accommodate updating these old packs. I'll look into it.

But he's not England manager, Lee Carsley is still going to be England manager for the next few games.

Best to leave it until at least after those games.

Sorry i'm not really sure what you're doing, you're going to have to give alot more information if you'd like some help, your responses so far are very vague and confusing.

What do you mean “still starts in 2023”? I asked you what year you're starting your game, off the top of my head I don't remember what year Japans starts in so I asked you, you need to give me that information. If it starts in 2023 then you need the default update if it starts in 2024 you need the south america data update.

Please share exactly step by step everything you're doing, all the extra files you're using, what leagues you're using, what dates the game is, what players are there and which are missing, which clubs are they at instead of the ones you expect etc. You can get lots of this information just by going to FM Logo > Game Status from your saved game and screenshotting that.

One thing I can randomly guess without more information is that when starting a new save you've selected the old database, it's hard to describe and i'm not going to load up the game to take a screenshot if you can't be bothered to do the same, but when starting a new save you have the option of which database to use in the top right, there's one called 24.3 and one called 24.0 or possibly just “Football Manager”. You might be using the old database.

@MeGaMaN- only put in the results for the Champions League. It's only 16 games and you won every game but 1 so you just put in 15 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses.

If there's something else that was confusing about it please let me know and I can try and improve it but I think it's pretty simple as is.

Are you starting in 2024 or 2023? If you're starting in 2024 you should download the “south America” data update. It's listed under alternative updates on the data update page.

I doubt they're struggling, they had 10,000,000 downloads this year, compared to 24,000,000 in the 17 years between 2004 and 2021. Obviously alot of that will be people that don't play because of netflix and games pass etc, but presumably they're still getting paid for that.

And what do you mean Miles no longer a director?

Are you using a cracked version of the game?

Are you installed it correctly there's a “common mistakes” section in the installation guide?

You'll get more help if you give more details, specific players, screenshots of your installation folder etc. Otherwise we're just blindly guessing, try and think about it from the other persons perspective and what would make their life easier to help you.

I can't say because I don't know which files you're referring to when you say “all of these combined”.

If you want to use the custom start date you would have to use the “Changes” file from the South America data update which is all transfers and contracts and nothing else .

To be honest i'm not sure why you would want to use the custom start date file? Cup competitions don't work so the wrong teams will get promoted and relegated through play offs as well as wrong teams qualifying through Europe. Is have the year be correct in the top right of the screen better than having teams in the right league?

If you could explain what's wrong with our Data Update and why you want to use the custom start date instead that would be helpful, maybe this is a misunderstanding.

In june of each year we start doing -1 of the contracts so that it's realistic that Salah is in the last year or his contract etc 

Yes the default data update is not compatible with the custom start date, you will have to use the South America data update which is compatible with starting in 2024.

For games starting in 2023 we reduce the year by 1 to make it more realistic.

I'm a bit confused by the question haha… Of course we would accept the official league site as a source. Why are you under the impression that we wouldn't?

The initial start file already has saves.

I had some issues with making sure Ronaldo was registered for the tournament when creating this challenge. I'm pretty sure it's okay now but if anyone has registration issues let me know. Just make sure never to holiday past squad registration your idiot assistant will exclude Ronaldo for some reason.

You can check the dates for registration by clicking the date in the top right hand corner which opens a calendar view (lots of people don't realise this)

The fact everyone reaches their PA is definitely absurd, they also don't drop off often enough.

People complain about there not being enough Jamie Vardy's and Ian Wrights and they claimed to fix this. But we don't get enough Robbie Fowlers and Michael Owen's either

That raises the more interesting question of if their potential should stay the same. Like should Kevin Phillips PA always be at least his highest ever CA because he could reach that ability again?

@MT90 these players don't exist yet, they weren't old enough to appear in FM24 and w're assuming they'll appear in FM25.
