After we won back-to-back titles with Jose Mourinho, Manchester United went on to win three consecutive titles.
During those three seasons the club had the perfect opportunity to rebuild a young squad using some of the academy prospects and putting some solid foundations in place. Instead we've continued to sack managers and waste millions on players who have turned out to be a waste.
Like you say, it's a worrying time for the club at the moment. We could potentially start next preseason/season without a decent manager, Ashley Cole or Frank Lampard.

I don't find it boring JCash??
We played in the first half but overall Chelsea had too much for us at Stamford Bridge. Hatem Ben Arfa also rubbed salt into the wounds by scored twice!!
Another great result in the Europa League at home to Panathinaikos. Ryan Taylor, Steven Caulker and a brace from Sylvain Marveaux put us in a solid position to qualify for the knockout stages.
A disappointing draw at home to West Ham because I felt we did enough to win the game. Papiss Cisse's scored the opener and we looked comfortable but a late Andy Carroll goal was enough to give the visitors a point.
Another home draw followed with Demba Ba having a goal disallowed late on. We need to start making the most of our home games against the teams that are in and around us.
A draw that I was happy with against Lyon. They pressed us hard and made it a tough night but Vurnon Anita cancelled out their early goal which meant we qualified for the knockout stages of the Europa League with a game spare. Haris Vuckic pulled his hamstring a will be sidelined for three weeks.
Our fourth consecutive draw, this time against a strong Tottenham side. Steven Caulker scored against his old club to give us the lead, but yet again we threw it away and conceded a sloppy goal from a set piece. We need to start to clocking up some wins as soon as possible.
Our games in hand are still making it difficult to keep up with the rest of the teams in the top half. I hope that the re-scheduled games don't give us a problem with fixture congestion.
A point in our final Europa League game should be enough to see us top the group. A brilliant achievement considering we looked like outsiders to qualify at the start of the competition.

Thanks Dan, the win over United was sweet.
Our second game in the Europa League and a solid win against Hearts. Goals from Haris Vuckic, Ruben Jenssen and [d]Danny Simpson[/b] made sure we took a valuable three points in our first home game.
The league fixture at Anfield ended in frustration as I felt we deserved at least a point. Demba Ba gave us the lead only to be pegged back ten minutes later. Nathan Redmond had a goal disallowed with fifteen minutes remaining and then Luis S*arez scored the winner!! Davide Santon, Demba Ba and Nathan Redmond all picked up injuries that will see them sidelined for a month.
A good three points followed at home to West Brom as we tried to make up ground on the clubs above us. Jonas Gutierrez, Wellington Nem and Papiss Cisse scored the all important goals.
Our good form continued in the Europa League as we beat Panathinaikos in the own back yard. Papiss Cisse came off the bench to score the winning goal.
Our second trip to Afield in the same month ended with the same outcome. This match was crazy, we got battered for the vast majority but whenever we conceded, we went straight up the other end and scored. The match ended up going to penalties and we were knocked out of the fourth round. I was proud of the performance because we had most of our 'second' team playing whilst Liverpool were at full strength.
I hate having so many games in hand but that's what happens when you compete in the Europa League. Hopefully we can take full advantage of them and climb the table. Not happy to see my beloved Chelsea struggling though...
We've started incredibly well in the Europa League this season. I'm hoping that the form can continue and we make the knockout stages. Fingers crossed...

Why doesn't Rafa Benitez ever discuss what happened during a game??
He constantly says "I am just concentrating on the next game"...
Winds me up!!

We kicked off September with a tough trip to Stoke and we were 2-0 down after twenty minutes. We managed to get ourselves back into the game with a goal from Wellington Nem and an own goal by Robert Huth. We lost our concentration though and ended up conceding another two goals and left empty handed.
It took a bit longer than I would of liked but a single Demba Ba goal made sure we took all three points at home to Wigan. Another clean sheet was a bonus too.
We started our Europa League campaign off with a difficult trip to Lyon and were 2-0 down by half-time. After a passionate team talk we were a different team in the second-half and goals from Yohan Cabaye and man of the match Wellington Nem gave us a well deserved point.
A much changed side for the Capital One Cup eventually overcame the visitors and we secured a place in the next round courtesy of Mike Williamson and Haris Vuckic goals.
A visit from the league leaders rounded off September and we were put to the sword for the majority of the game. We came from behind twice thanks to Demba Ba and Danny Simpson but it was Yohan Cabaye who scored the all important third goal as we hung on the complete a memorable victory.
With just the one defeat so far we can put ourselves in a good position by winning our games in hand. Our participation in the Europa League means that our fixture list is all over the place but hopefully we can keep the players fit and put in a real challenge an all fronts.

A positive start to the Premier League with a win and clean sheet away at newly promoted Reading. Goals from Demba Ba and Fabricio Coloccini gave us a good three points in our only league game of the month.
Tromso visited St.James' Park and were comfortably brushed aside. New signing Nathan Redmond broke the Europa League record by scoring after only sixteen seconds. A brace in the second half by Papiss Cisse ensured we had good lead heading into the away fixture.
A much changed starting line-up and we showed plenty of character to come away with a good win and a place in the group stages. Sylvain Marveaux and academy prospect Adam Campbell with the goals.
The table for August doesn't mean much but here it is anyway.
We have been handed a tough group with some difficult away trips. If we can pick up points at home then we can put ourselves in a good position to qualify from the group. Here's hoping...

A team meeting was held before the start of preseason and not one single negative reaction came from it which was a positive start. A brilliant set of results during preseason, albeit against some lesser opposition, provided a boost in morale which should set us up nicely for the start of the domestic campaign. The two formations that are being trained seem to work well and the players are responding in a very positive manner.

Thanks Dan, I've never managed them before but they have potential.
Sticking to the board's request of a younger first team squad, five signings were made...
Promising left-back Luke Shaw was signed from Southampton for £3,500,000 and has some real potential. Some may question the £13,000,000 that was paid for Steven Caulker but I'm delighted with addition. He is another young Englishman with heaps of potential. Ruben Jenssen was brought in to strengthen a weakened midfield (see departures below) at a cost of £2,500,000 and I'm sure that he will become a solid player that will suit the Premier League.
Nathan Redmond is someone who I signed in a Tottenham save and he was brilliant, even at eighteen. For a fee of £6,000,000 I think it's real bargain and he should have no problem in making an impact. Finally, someone who should be familiar with most FM13 players, Wellington Nem. The squad needed an attacking midfielder and for a release clause of £3,500,000 there aren't many better.
The combined total of all five players was an eye-watering £28,500,000.
The only departure that the fans' weren't too happy with was Shola Ameobi. Unfortunately, his years of service no longer warranted a place in the first team squad and his place was quickly filled by the promising Adam Campbell. Just under £4,000,000 for James Perch and he was quickly on his way. Both Cheick Tiote and Hatem Ben Arfa are quality players and I don't want to become a selling club, but the money on offer was just too good to turn down and the fans' didn't bat an eye lid either.

Hello and welcome to my Newcastle United career. I haven't really set myself any specific targets, although I would love to finish in the Champions League places, play against some of the best teams in the world and have some money pumped back into the club to help with the large amount of debt. This may take a while...
With my one-year contract, I have been told to play attacking football and sign some young players for the first team. I admire the philosophies and will undoubtedly try to incorporate them within the first season. Gradual success is the main aim and if I can do it whilst maintaining the owners expectations then it would be even better.
A respectable league position? Mid-table? I would probably expect a top-half finish this season but we'll see how we go. A decent enough transfer budget to start off with but with certain targets in mind there will definitely be some departures. Watch this space...
A decent balance despite how much debt the club have. Like I said before though, I will look to increase the finances and help the club shift some of that debt along the way.

Set his 'Creative Freedom' to 'Much' and see how he goes. After a few games you can adjust other settings accordingly i.e, closing down etc.
Hope this helps.
