Getting a passport for a country means you are that nationality (or at least a fraction).

It is purely ignorance borne from being an uneducated idiot is all. He IS saying that you should be born here to play for the country though.

Notice you didn't highlight the part where he says "going to a new country as an adult".

You then go on to say he IS saying you should be born there to play for England, yet the part you didn't highlight shows he didn't say that at all.

Okay back to current season. I cbf taking screenies and uploading them because I am about to jump on GTA.

Bundesliga we finished an amazing 2nd having a superior goal difference to Gladbach, both finishing on 70. I thought I was in with a shot of winning the title during an amazing end of season run but a draw to Gladbach and a loss to HSV ended our chances with Leverkusen finishing 4 points clear of us.

DFB Pokal once again knocked out in the second round, this time in extra time to Hoffenheim. After beating Dortmund my first time around it has become somewhat of a bogey cup for me.

Europa league and we retained our title. We topped our group with 5 wins and 1 draw before beating Sevilla 3-1 on agg. Then came the impressive result you see above against Atl. Madrid, the return leg we won 3-0. Man City was up next and with a 3-1 win at home I thought we were safe. Man City took an early 2 goal lead in the return leg and with time dwindling I switched to overload, I needed one goal to go through. Akbari fires home a 76th minute free kick to send us through to the semis. Roma proved as futile as Atl. Madrid, beating them 6-0 in the first leg and fighting out a 0-0 in the second leg. Up comes our second final in 2 years and against R.Sociedad, 7 FUCKING 0. Just wow, and Leggett had 2 goals disallowed lol. It's a shame I couldn't take that form into the league though, often scraping by with wins.

I've got a tough choice to make. While it has been fun coming back into this save I'm not sure I want to stay at Werder. I might start the next season and see how I feel.

Just realized I forgot to update you all on the rest of season 40/41. Must have just played through without updating here lol.

So I won the Europa league beating Man Utd 3-2 in extra time. On the way I beat Austria Wien, Zenit, Standard and Milan. Did horrible in the DFB Pokal losing in the second round to Cottbus. The Bundesliga saw us finish 8th, from what I can recall my tactic with the two DM's wasn't working anymore and from looking at the table it's evident I wasn't creating enough scoring chances, we put only 34 in the back of the net that season. Defence was also worse then the previous season where I finished 5th. Alas my tactics this season have seen us with a chance to win the title but I will update that later.

Fired this game back up, has been a good few months since I have even thought about playing this game.

Forgot how many good players that I love managing are in this career including Miles Leggett.

Okies my turn is up. Pretty solid pre season so far. Wins against Ajax, Barnsley and Columbus with, surprisingly only Columbus threatening us.

Just had a quick look and noticed that 3 of the 10 highest valued players in the world are ours

Also interesting to note that most are defenders or defensive players, 2 strikers and an AM round out the other spots. Micha Adams valued at an incredible £34m is the highest valued player in the world

Sold Kajunzic to Huddersfield for £6.25m, we have a heap of CD and he just wasn't playing for us.

Got those two on pre contracts earlier. If there is one thing we should know by now it is that our squad get's very thin very quickly lol. These guys will be good rotation players especially around January when Yamauchi is away.

Antichi went to Hull for £10m, bought this kid in for £9.5. Also helps with the home grown quota.

Manny Smith he played for Walsall a few years ago.

International football can go both ways, it can be a lot of fun or tediously boring, I think a lot of it depends on how you select your team, I get far more enjoyment from seeing inexperienced England players like Adam LeFondre or James Ward-Prowse score a winning goal than Wayne Rooney or one of the old guard.

Have you picked Ryan Shawcross? He is a beast for me (40 caps, 11 goals)

I made Shawcross my captain when Gerrard handed it over. He partners Caulker generally for me. Caulker is also a beast.

If the clubs say that is feasible then I really don't care about Qatar holding a winter world cup at a purely basic level.

What I do have a problem with is Qatar bidding for a summer World Cup, and promising all these things they're going to do to allow it to happen and then turning around and acting like they hadn't. Hope Australia sue Fifa for all the money they made in that corrupt little deal.

From what is being reported here Frank Lowy just wants the $43m we paid but FIFA have all but shut it down anyways.

I'm yet to RQ it, simply because of the checkpoint addition. I have to force myself to stop playing otherwise I won't get anything else done lol. I set my alarm for specific times so I know when I have to stop lol.

Got both players on pre contracts I wanted. One is a dm from Gladbach, will be a good rotation player especially come the january period when Yamauchi is on international duty.

The other is an AMC/ST who will be rotated with Watson if we decide to stick with him in the advanced role.

Made a tough decision here, we only had two playable players from the reserves and they both started, the rest of the team were fringe first teamers. The starting squad really needed a rest and I want to push for that title.

Wasn't a bad effort really. I've also offered two contracts for players.

Tired legs and 4 players out injured. We are very thin, I still don't think we have the squad big enough to win the title but at least we aren't losing these games.

Edit: Make that 5 out, Watson gone for 2 weeks after the game.
