As the second goal was being scored I changed to a counter and we played much better, grabbed a goal and unlucky not to score a couple more. Not much you can do when a striker puts 4 past you though kid is a machine.

Got this bloke on a free. Will most probably be first choice. Looking at a youngster for third choice as I don't really have anything in my youth teams.
Another freebie. Just adds some depth to that DM spot especially with my other too being so young.
Really only got him in for emergencies.
Could very well steal starting spot from Lorber.
Missed out on Paco, Barca want him in first team now. This bloke joins in January as my new poacher. Have my eye on another striker right now but looking like costing me about £11m.
Very pleased with this signing. They originally wanted £18m so to knock it down to £11m was great. Also broke the transfer record with this purchase.
£21.5m out, £16m in. Still in the black. With over 300k left for wages. Missed out on my left back cause Reading want £18m for him so I might just use Alberto there.

Cheers mate. Yeah I really wanted to build a dynasty with youngsters in my second stint at Liverpool which sadly failed. At least I will have more time here to do what I want.
Kids ready to step up and play a part now.
Will get some games off the bench. I'm still hoping to bring Paco back.
Another one from the youth academy, will add depth to the defence.
One position I need to strengthen with the retirement of my backup left back. Will probably be 3rd choice as I'll look to bring in a new first choice player.

Some relief there as I thought I'd get the sack for missing Europe.
I've done a bit of cleansing in the squad and have about £23m to play with. However there are quite a few youngsters I feel are ready to step up so I may just need a left back and a striker.

Missed out on Europe, poor cup form and losing too many games to teams well below us.
Hopefully I get another season I can turn this one into a positive.
Happy for the lad he really is something special. Not sure how to translate that award but based on the ages of the winners I'm guessing player of the year?? He also made team of the year.
Chelsea showed interest in me after finishing 5th and sacking the manager. I denied interest straight away. I'm planning on building an empire here.

Very difficult to win this game especially away from home. PSG actually won the league with this win also. No chance of champions league now and with Evian winning their game I might not even finish 5th-6th.
Excellent finish to the season at home. We beat 4 of the top 5 teams in the run home basically but it wasn't enough.
We still finished 7th.

Dominated this game but was one of those days where they put it on target and it went in. Not looking good for the run home.
Dominated again this time we put the ball in the back of the net and restricted them to only 1 shot off target all game.
As soon as Diallo went off we really struggled and were quite frankly lucky to hold on to the draw.
HUGGGGE win this. Gives us 7 points with 2 games remaining. Lyon are 4 points ahead in 4th. Race for champions league is still on but I have to play second placed PSG and first placed Marseille.

How we look with 6 games to go. Possibly another 12 points we should have taken but weren't clinical or were too complacent. Either way we need Europa or I'm sacked.
SHOULD get 9 points from the next three games. Couldn't have asked for a worse finish though playing 3, 2 and 1 to round out the season.
Be happy with a sneaky win from one of those 3 and maybe a draw.

Fuck I hate this game sometimes. Both goals were gifts, kicked straight to the player by my defender and they bury it. FUCK FUCK FUCK. We've also slipped up in the league losing to 8th placed Evian and 12th placed Arles. Arles have done the double over us when they had no right to. I'm disgusted right now.

Had it not been for Gil it could have been 5 or 6-0 down. On the other hand if I had Paco instead of Marty we could have scored between 2 and 3. Some positive signs for the home leg.

Did it tough at home. Lucky to get the equalizer. We put it together in the next game though beating Troyes 5-1 with Paco grabbing 4. I was very confident.
It was much easier then the scoreboard actually shows. That man Paco is on fire, 6 goals in two games. Hopefully keeps the run going.
We've drawn Juventus in the next leg, to top that off Paco misses the first leg due to yellow card accumulation. First leg is away though so that's comforting.

How the league is going so far. As I said real struggle street the first few games what with learning players and tactics. Didn't help that we came up against the champions first up.
Once we started to put the gameplan together the wins started, whilst we dominate possession it's more about working the ball, not a lot of big scores because we don't just shoot at every opportunity.
Had the hickup against 3 of the big 4 but all three games ending 2-1, 2 of those games away, conceding a penalty in one and an own goal in another.
Should never have lost to Arles, we got a penalty missed they went up the other end and scored. We had 13 shots on target but couldn't find an equalizer let alone a winner.
Two bullshit draws in the cups see us exit in the first round of each.
Done the Europa easy so far, minus the loss at home to Shalke. Which we avenged the very next game.
If we cut out the silly losses to teams well below us I have no doubt we will be in Europa league again next season. Going to be tough to challenge for top 4 from here but hopefully next season with the right buys I get it right.
My next fixture is the first leg in Europa knockout round. Wish me luck.

How we line up. Ignore the ass man's role and duty columns as he's not the greatest at judging players.
My transfer dealings. I didn't really want to spend all the money but being short across the back I had to fork out on Alberto on one of the last days of the transfer window.
Bayern released this kid and I snapped him up. Since I moved to a 5 man midfield he's started every game and while not setting the world alight I have every faith he will soon embrace the role.
Dangerously short on goalkeepers this guy has great command, communication, aerial and reflexes which is what I largely look at when buying goalkeepers. Again not setting the world alight but that can be attributed to the poor start we had when I was still working out the team and tactics.
Another youngster but great physical attributes. Not much game time but that will come over the next season or two.
Got this kid off loan but great poacher attributes. A goal every two games but also had some injuries to dampen his time here. If I can will probably get him on a permanent.
One of my better performers this season, can play right across the back but mainly brought for right back. Will def be a key player for years to come.
Now I'll show you some of the superstars I inherited.
Some real gems in defence, it baffles as to why we concede the way we do. I can only put that down to age. Hopefully with a few more years leading the defence they will become rocks.
These two are absolute quality, the problem is they are very similar players. I also believe this has a bearing on us conceding so many goals. Without anyone else of note in the center mid I just have to make do. They are too good to bench either though so whoever I bring in has to be real quality.

Just about finishes me up for transfers. Gonna give itchy the whole month of August instead of just half in case he wants to make some transfers.
