Only cost 95k and can cover a few positions. His value sky rocketed as soon as he signed though so maybe in a season we can get a decent profit from him.

I'm on the lookout for one more goalkeeper for depth, probably just a loanee for emergencies. A right back and probably one more center back.

Our midfield looks pretty good but if I find anyone decent who can play there I'll look to add for depth.

First signing. Need some goalkeepers and he will be useful 2nd string. It's very difficult to get the targets I want, we still don't have the money for most of them. It has taken me a month to identify them but I have to settle for second or third choice targets for now.

Okay so just a quick update on this game. I have been very busy and with the succession game going so well I have not played much of this save. I'll get some screenies up when I get a chance but here is what has happened.

So I finally got around to playing the grand final I won. As it was a while ago I can't remember in what fashion I won in. Might have been a 1-0 I think.
My champions league was hanging in the balance but I managed to pick up either 3 or 4 points from my final two games and qualified. Now this is where my interest waned in the A-league. While I like the A-League this was a squad I had inherited so when it came time for player contract renewals there wasn't much I wanted to keep around but it was enough that would have sent my champions league journey spiraling downhill. I decided to resign.

I might head back one day but I want a full pre season to make the squad my own and avoid situations like the above.

Anyways Montpellier approached me. After my failed stint in Lyon I was pretty quick to accept this job offer. They were a reasonable squad finishing 6th last season, I had Europa league to look forward to and a full pre season to work some transfer magic. I was given a healthy £13.5m transfer budget and just on £1m wages I think it was. Only downside was after my budgets were given the chairmen pumped 17m into the club to bring me to 12m in the black, so I was anxious about spending the transfer budget.

Okay I downloaded it this morning but I'll be taking my time with it. We need quality across the park and I don't wanna rush any signings. Plus I'm going out tonight so might not have it done till saturday afternoon.

Excellent work on staying up, I thought I had surely fucked it but with my fixture list managing to stay only 4 points fromsafety was a pretty good effort.

Getting difficult to put a decent side on the pitch, so many injuries and we just can't seem to finish our chances. With that being said McGuire and Gardiner now miss our next game because of yellow cards. FFS I can't take a trick this spell.

Saved our worst game for when we needed to win the most. Forecast is not looking good atm. Injuries have crippled us severely.
I've got 6 players injured which is basically the rest of the first team.

Going to be very difficult to get anything from this game. At least we will get a decent gate from it.

Huge point this that could so easily have been 3 if not for the own goal. Still a point from safety though but we play Stevenage next who are that team above us. Going to need to have a huge end of december to about the end of march because the fixtures to finish the season are fucked and could well see us drop.

Finally snagged an invaluable win. Made very tough work of it though. Keogh buried one home then minutes later Iliev kicks it straight to Keogh and they score again. An assertive half time team talk and what a comeback victory. We are still in relegation but now only 1 point from safety.

Gonna take a miracle from here. Currently 2 points from safety. Thing is we are competing with these teams in shots, possession everything you name it we are matching them except the most important part. Putting the fucking ball in the back of the net.

Made some lineup changes and we played much better, unlucky not to win with the late goal from them.

FFS cannot get a point let alone a win. Another even game that if we had some real quality in the side we would have won. Leaves us just above the drop zone.

Changed to a counter for this game and got a couple chances from it but cannot finish. Red card was just the icing on top of an unlucky game I suppose.

FFS I've got a tough run I think it's only 2 teams below me in the league and most of the other fixtures are top 10. Pricks lol.

They had 5 shots on target and scored 4. We missed a one on one and hit the bar with another. Fairly even game other then that.

It's because the other teams either failed in Europe or your coefficient isn't high enough to allow more teams into Europe so your competition will go down.

About 3 or 4 hours from the time I post this.
