I suspect you have additional, custom data files installed/loading alongside the SortItOutSI Data Update. Specifically, some other file/database that is making alterations to club positions/divisions in Turkey.

Before releasing Turkey, I tested it thoroughly and I have just re-downloaded the current Data Update to double-check - it all loads fine for me, with just the SortItOutSI Data Update installed.

Can you share a screenshot showing the full list of files in your ‘editor data’ folder, please?

Those who contribute data submissions to the Data Update can also get the enhanced version for free as a thank you for contributing. That aside, it requires a purchase for £5 annually.

From my perspective, the Premium website membership is primarily about eliminating adverts, enabling faster/direct downloads and supporting the site in general. The enhanced Data Update is essentially a separate product. Naturally, the Premium membership concept has been around a lot longer and the enhanced data update is a relatively new thing. I just don’t see that the two have anything to do with each other. I believe the enhanced data update intends to ‘live on’ for FM 24 beyond the release of FM 25 - the website will then support FM 25 (and beyond) whilst the enhanced update, I think, will be maintained for FM 24 specifically.

Of course, you may disagree conceptually that it should be a separate product - that is a question that @Footygamer may want to address directly. I am just giving my perspective to try and give you my take on things.

I've re-submitted based on a different source. The original fidelity was quite low - this was about as clean as I could cut it. I have set it to Pending so it can be reviewed by another staff member before being accepted/rejected accordingly.

Totally agree - sorry, rushed it between other tasks. Don't worry - I know my way around Photoshop; I will re-do this one and do it cleanly.

In that case, my assumption is that the data re-process that will happen later today will pick up the change - and therefore, it'll be in the next version of the update. I think a ‘snapshot’ is taken of the site data (at a set time every 24 hours) - which is the timestamp shown in the ‘Built At’ reference on https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update. The staff then perform a manual process, once per day, which finalises and releases the update. I think this accounts for the ‘day of delay’.

There are definitely no longer two instances of the player in the source data so this duplicate will be no more shortly.

Appreciate all of your submissions - those CA/PA submissions for players in the original database are still a work-in-progress to integrate. There's no specific timeline I can share - the Site Admin may be able to offer more detail on that front.

The original plan was to allow people to download their own submissions only, first (so people can play with ‘their values’) but so far this, too, has not been configured. I would expect the plan to be to get the CA/PA updates integrated into the Data Update in the course of this summer hopefully.

Regarding these players - Abdul Aziz Issah has been created by our community; he has been in the Data Update since early March: https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/new-person/2100050295

As is the case in real-life, he is contracted to Dreams FC and is on loan at Barcelona (actually, that loan just expired about a week ago - but that hasn't been reflected yet). If you are not seeing him in your game, it may be because he is not being loaded in due the database size you are using.

Jerry Afriyie has not been created - but there would be nothing stopping him being created, via the ‘Add New Youth Player’ form on his current club's (Al-Qadsiah) page: https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/team/1104149

I would be happy to create the missing players but, to be honest, I know nothing of them in real-life and so these sort of submissions would always be best coming from someone in the community that has an idea of their standard (ability, potential) etc.

I've just taken care of this - I removed the ‘less complete’ entry and so from the next version of the Data Update (which will be processed later today) there should only remain one instance of Viggo Gebel. Thanks for pointing that out.

You should be able to go to https://sortitoutsi.net/shop (which is the page you get to if you select the settings cog near the top-right and then choose ‘Shop Orders’ from the menu).

On that page, you should see a list of your orders/subscriptions. You will be able to cancel from there.

The invalidation was automatic/system-driven, because there is a minimum data set that needs to be provided for any newly-submitted player. The ‘Pending Moderation’ bit on the club page is just a bit of a UI oddity (I'm sure that'll get tackled at some point so it's more intuitive).

The specific information your submission was missing is setting the player a position. I think you should be able to access the following URL, which is the specific submission: https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/attributes/submission/10155. If you can, you'll see near the top there is an error, indicating what is missing:

If you are able to, please do go in and re-submit, providing as much information as possible. In an ideal world, that will include a DOB, a position and the ‘basic’ info to ensure it's as accurate a representation in-game as possible.

Update - Türkiye now updated to 2025/26. This should be available after the Data Update has gone through its next re-processing. The new file:

• Updates the pyramid structure, with Süper Lig consisting of 18 teams (from 19), as well as 1. Lig consisting of 18 teams (from second in-game season; down from 20).
• Updates promotions/relegations to reflect the 2025/26 constitutions.
• Updates competition and club histories of all playable divisions and primary domestic cups.
• Updates the format of TFF Süper Kupa (competed by 4 teams; up from 2).

There are still some foreign player squad/matchday rules that I need to review - but I don't have time, right now, so wanted to get the primary/main update out and available to everyone. Special thanks to @sirEmresto whose file was used as a base for the Advanced Rules.

I've just adjusted your account which should now grant you access to submit Data Updates (incidentally, also compete in Challenges). I suspect these were automatically toggled as part of the previous ban. Account should be back to normal fully, now.

Which transfers are you referring to?

In general, the transfers take place by community members submitting them (via https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/contribute) and those submissions then get approved. If you believe specific transfers are missing, please do submit them.

If you're referring to something else that you believe appears to be submitted but isn't appearing in game, please do advise.

I checked all of the Feyenoord youth teams in case the second one was there and looked at the original DB. There is another player with the same name (https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/person/49046066) but I am pretty confident this is not the same player.

Thanks for flagging, these - I will iterate the club statuses you've pointed out into the file. No harm in having it all as accurate as possible!

I think, realistically, the primary focus remains ensuring the representation of 2025/26 is completed for all/as many nations as possible. Many have been done (and, arguably, all of the ‘big nations’ to some degree), but not all.

Just to show that this is something we are committed to - I have actually started to manually, one-at-a-time, prepare the cutouts for the wonderkids. Bearing in mind there are around ~17,000, it's a huge job. I really think the intention is to develop a way for the community to contribute, much like with the cut-out megapack. But there's a meaningful level of website development needed (if that is even possible) to make that a reality.

I have considered starting a post to try and drum up some community contribution to creating cut-outs, but the problem is that if it does scale and people start contributing, the process of informally/offline moderating them, collating them, releasing them is really quite involved.

For what it's worth - I'm with you conceptually that it would be great to have cohesive, cut-out faces for the new players. But the size of the operation needed to make it happen is significant - and right now is a busy time with other fundamental Data Update activities (not only 2025/26 nation updates, but also with transfer windows opening there is a heightened level of transfer submissions to moderate, etc).

Has it been withdrawn by FIFA? On their official site, it indicates a three-window ban, which is still ongoing. If there is an official source you can share that indicates it has been lifted, we can get it changed.

I had a quick look for any news and I couldn't find anything conclusive. I saw something that suggested of the three offences (that resulted in the transfer ban), two have been resolved - but the outstanding, unresolved situation meant the ban was not (yet) officially lifted.

We expect the Data Update to include Paul Pogba in the coming day or two. I think it’ll need him to be created as a new player - fundamentally, he is not present in the 24.3 database. On that basis, we can recreate him in the way we see fit.

The specific update I've mentioned is all about updating the France divisional structure to reflect the 2025/26 season. Player transfers/contracts are handled separately.

I can see that Paul Pogba (a) appears on the site's database and (b) the transfer to Monaco has been submitted/approved in time to be in the current version. However, I have just downloaded it and I cannot see that his record appears, as I think he was removed from the FM 24 database by SI. I will have a proper look into it tomorrow when I have some time.

Update - France now updated to 2025/26. This should be available after the Data Update has gone through its next re-processing. The new file:

• Extends France to be fully-playable down to the fourth tier (Championnat National 2).
• Updates the pyramid structure, promotions/relegations, competition histories and club histories of all divisions to reflect 2025/26.
   
• Note: Olympique Lyonnais are in Ligue 2, pending the outcome of their appeal.
• Note: C'Chartres Football were promoted to CN2 as the best second-placed CN3 club, to ensure three groups of 16 in CN2 (pending FFF finalising the constitution - last year it was finalised around mid-July).
• Note: Championnat National does not convert to a fully-professional Ligue 3 from 2026/27 due to uncertainty around gameplay implications.

There is not one made for the new additions…yet.

It is definitely on the to-do list - but the priority recently has been taking care of 2025/26 league updates. In the background, the Data Update files have been set up in such a way that will make it possible to create a reliably-working facepack. Because newly-created players can be added and deleted (for example, ones added by mistake) and because their UIDs could therefore become re-ordered, plenty of thought had to be given to implement things in a way that the UIDs would stay the same. All of that thought was put in with a facepack in mind - so the intention is there.

The facepack will definitely materialise in the future. Whether that facepack will come together through website-driven contributions by the community or a more localised/offline set of effort, I am not sure yet.

We should all focus on the things we have in common, about which we can be united - hopefully in this case that is Football Manager and the custom database the opening poster shared.

Unfortunately, all I can confirm is that this has been the situation for a couple of days. We have had a few reports of the issue.

I don’t believe there is any affiliation between their site and this one, so hard to say - in their behalf - what the issue is, I’m afraid.

Many of the nations have been updated and are included in the Data Update. Anything that isn’t updated is still being worked through by the team.

For many nations, we did a simple ‘first pass’ to get some elements updated (like top divisions, if lower divisions were still undecided) and we are now circling back to those. For some other nations, they require more complex changes due to structures changing. Those are also being worked on.

Can’t really provided an estimated time without knowing a specific nation you’re interested in - the plan is to do all of the playable nations ASAP, but it’s a lot of work and a lot has already been done.

No problem at all - I hope it gets sorted out for you, one way or another. What you're doing does not sound particularly complex - hopefully it is something that a second pair of eyes can spot to get you on your way.

The ‘Changes.fmf’ file in the SortItOutSI Data Update includes transfers, contract changes and any newly-created players. I do not think it currently includes CA/PA changes submitted by the community yet (which is a fairly new feature in itself). That is a work-in-progress to integrate. Tagging @Footygamer so he can confirm in due course.

As an aside: the Site Admin is working on a more global/general CA/PA update, but this is not integrated into the update yet.

If you are happy to, please share whatever .fmf file you have so far. I can then take a look and offer some advice. It’s a lot easier to troubleshoot by seeing what you’ve done in the context of the Pre-Game Editor. It also means I can try a few things and then only reply with guidance that will work.

Your conduct is now getting childish and unnecessarily rude.

As I said before - I understand the frustration. But your way of going about expressing it has become unacceptable.

The size of the overall operation of moderating submissions and doing all of the other tasks that the staff members volunteer their time to do means they are afforded a level of tolerance to what you think should be made impossible. You might not be happy about it, you may even think it is ‘bullshit’, but the options available to you are:

1. Accept that there is some overlap in effort that results in a small percentage of submissions of yours being disabled because of a specific sequence. Keep contributing as you have been, in the knowledge that this may happen to some of them.
2. Choose to stop contributing because of the possibility of this outcome. Again, you are volunteering your time - it isn’t mandatory. If it is causing you this level of frustration, perhaps it is better to stop contributing.

An option not available to you is to swear at anyone who will listen, nor continue this exaggerated personal crusade against a staff member that volunteers their time and puts a lot of effort in to the site. Any further instances of swearing targeted at any staff member on individual submissions, or expletive-laden forum posts, will result in a ban.

That is entirely separate from the mechanics of submissions/approvals that I’ve tried to discuss with you. If you can’t separate the two, then the sensible conversation about this topic (with you) is over.

The site owner may choose to discuss with the staff member at their discretion - but I can tell you for free that going about highlighting the frustration the way you have has done little, except reflect badly on you. If you want to be treated with respect, you should interact respectfully - even if you believe the way a staff member has gone about their duties has ‘disrespected’ you.

Turkey is on my to-do list and I am hopeful to have it done and integrated into the Data Update during this weekend.

This is not possible at the moment - I would say that we are currently on version 1 of the new player submissions.

I know the site admin will be keen to improve it in whichever ways make sense - and if these details are ones that can be exposed to the community to input them (perhaps as optional fields) then I could see the value in that.

One thing to note, however, is that any extra information also brings with it an increased amount of effort for moderation (that is, it is one more thing that needs checking for accuracy). That being said, I don’t disagree in principle that it would increase the quality of submitted players to have these details included.

I‘m sure you can appreciate the priority in the last 4-6 weeks has been preparing the 2025/26 changes to various files (and there still is some work to do), but I’ll pose the question internally and perhaps this can be added to the roadmap.
