No need for that and I genuinely can't understand where you got that from. We only spoke about un/ticking the "use caching to decrease page loading time" box. It's visible in your screenshot, and it's set correctly, but below's a screenshot of what exactly I mean.

You need to have that unticked every time you're modifying the contents of your graphics folder, yeah.

Please read carefully what I wrote: If you paste the 2 folders from the download into your sortitoutsi FACES folder, then you will be prompted if you want to overwrite files, which you click OK/Accept to.

You copied the sortitoutsi folder in there, not the faces and iconfaces folder

Each cutout faces update pack contains a faces and an iconfaces folder. If you paste the 2 folders from the download into your sortitoutsi FACES folder, then you will be prompted if you want to overwrite files, which you click OK/Accept to.

If you go to the update pack download page, it will tell you which files you have downloaded and when If you are still unsure, check the properties of the faces config.xml and compare the date modified with the dates when update packs were released and download all update packs subsequent to that date

Longer answer: In terms of custom graphics, anything within Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2020 / graphics is read by the game, so you can sort everything out in any way you deem fit as long as it's within that path. Not sure why you've renamed the graphics folder in caps though, leave it in lower case

there are so many things you can do with the pre game editor that you cant with the official IGE the list would be huge, the IGE is limited to some basic editing only

The SI IGE is also inferior to the other in game editors that are available now that offer far more in terms of features

It's a known issue and SI have indicated they are working on re-balancing it to be more realistic.

I know the feeling. At the moment, I'm more concerned when an opposition jobbing central midfielder gets a loose ball on the edge of the ball than when I get their striker running through on goal

@mons I wouldn't say it was a trove of better pics but I found a lot of (mostly decent) additional pics & have just posted the updated request pack. (Amazingly one of the few current cut-outs for this team is from a Fulham youth team request I made about 9 years ago! He looks a bit different now . Anyway please reject this request.

Usually, it's up to users to collect and request players to be made. In this particular instance, @Side Splitting Pass would appear to have found a trove of more/better images for this team and he's taken it upon himself to collect and request them.

That's what this community is about. People then produce the ensuing cut-outs and that's where the 240,000+ images in the cut-out faces megapack have come from over the past decade or so

Sorry @Womaz, it may seem like we're messing you about but SSP is the best in the business at finding the best possible sources, so I defer to his judgement on this.

To recap, your request was made correctly, but in view of the fact that SSP has committed himself to putting together a better request for this team, it's best we wait for it. You'll have a much better chance of it getting cut this way, trust me

Edit: Also if you click on the Cuerpo Técnico link on the bottom right of the team pics page there are similar images for the teams staff.


The easiest way to search for ID numbers is to search the team's database at this site. Here's the link. This will give you the team in the FM2020 database. I notice the squad pics are from last year so if you can't find some of the players click on the FM2019 link on that page and it will give you the team in the FM2019 database.

@Womaz the headshots of the players must be at least 180x180 not the whole picture. Most of those pics are far too small to cut. However there may be a way to get bigger versions of the small pics. Could you post a link to where you found the small pics please & I'll check.

Have you downloaded the cut-out faces megapack? I can see they only have a handful of the squad containing faces, though. If you have somebody whose face you'd like to have in your save, feel free to request them in the request forum for cutout faces.

Perhaps this page from their official site may help you in finding sources for some of them

Thanks again. So I am looking at managing Deportoes Puerto Montt in the Chilean B League. I have the new kits available , but not a lot of player faces .
