In your Config file , does the player ID start with r-?

So if his ID number is 123456, in your config file it should be r-123456.

I dont think you can in FM26

It is different for FM26, you actually have to replace some files so its important to make a back up , and follow the instructions 

I do not have a 3d kit for my team Deportes Santa Cruz.

EDIT - just to add my 3D kits are not working correctly in FM26, so have deleted them and will wait for some proper packs.

No packs yet then, I am not technical enough to be able to put them in my game. I am managing in the Chilean league just for a fresh challenge so I will have to be patient.

Edit - My Chilean Premier league 3D kits are working ……unfortunatley the team I manage Deportes Santa Cruz are not in it :-)

Are there any 3D kits that have been made for FM26 or is it just too early for that?

My 3D kits are not working in FM26 so I deleted the folder and tried to start again.

I have 3D kits for the Chilean league in my Graphics folder, but there was no Config file, so I have created one using the FMXML tool

Can anyone give me an example of the correct wording I need to put into my config file please?

Do you have to start a new save for the 3D kits to work?

I think it’s a common issue and you are not alone. I have seen a few posts about this . Sorry I can’t offer a fix but I would imagine in time that someone will be able to do so 

Just not comfortable with files and their structure I am afraid. I am an age where PC skills are pretty basic.

I’ve downloaded this , but scared to delete files in the game folder so won’t use it yet.

You used to be able to just add it to the FM folder and then chose it within preferences in the game.

Has this changed with FM26?

Are 3D kits working in FM26? I am managing in Chile and for my team its not working

It will be a massive disappointment if there are no more FM games. I am 61 and have played it since the very first release. 
 

it has its faults but if it goes for good there will be a huge gap to fill. That sounds a bit dramatic for a game , but I think for me it’s true. 
Why are people saying it may never be released again. Is it all just unfounded rumours? 
There is still a huge market for it and that surely makes it a viable product 

I may have to look at the FMRTE option to use the Newgan facepacks 

I usually get to about 4 or 5 seasons in and my Config file just corrupts ans screen starts flashing. This usualy leads to the faces disappering from the game.

I dont do an update of the newgan faces every intake as this has led to major issues for me in the past……now I just add any players I sign or come through the ranks. I add them manually to the config file. It works for a few seasons and then just corrupts for some reason. Does anyone else have a similar issue?

Is anyone using Newgan face packs without any issues as this thread seems to have gone a bit quiet lately

I have been using Newgan tool for months, now it is crashing all of the time for some reason.

I use it in my game and I honestly could not play FM without it now.

It still works , I am using it with FM24 and have done since it was released 

It depends how many dont get faces I guess. I just add a line in the config file if anyone I sign does not have a newgan face

So it has happened again, this is the second youth intake in a row where the Newgens come with the faces from the facepack. This year 14 players and all bar one come with the Newgan face . Its now three seasons since I ran the Newgan app.

Have you looked at the posts above about having to change the 200 prefix to r-200 ? 

I had a weird thing happen to me on this years youth intake. The faces were alreday populated with the faces in the pack when they come in my youth intake.

I thought I was seeing things. The only thing I can think is the newgen ID numbers are created in the game some time before they actually appear in the youth intake?

I say this as I changed the face pack I was using to the one used here about 2 months before my youth intake was due. So of course I ran the NEWGEN manager tool again to populate the faces. So the only thing i can asume is the IDs are created maybe when you get the first message about the youth intake expectations.

I also checked the other newgens in the game by adding a new manager and they also had the faces in the pack…….a nice little welcome surprise. 

As Ninja 777 states above it is the capital P that is causing the issue.

I tested this today for you. I changed two of my players to a capital P in my config file and reloaded the skin…..the faces were replaced with SI faces.

So you just need to replace the capital P with a small case p and I think this will be your issue sorted.

I am far from an expert witb this, but that is a very small config file. Very short list of players there. 

Check one of the r- numbers on that config file and they may have a face allocated. 

If this is the case you have not selected all of the players when in the print screen phase. My search had over 40K newgens.

Just to report something that has just happened to me and I have no idea why.

My youth intake come in and they were already populated with the Newan faces……I did not even run tte Newegan app. 

So I added a Manager to do a wider serach and it looks like all of the Newgens have the Newgen faces. I mean its good but I have no idea how this has happened.

One other thing I have the in game editior and i often use it to change the Newgen names. I did this before for one of them and a player in my first teams name also changed? 

What is going on? :-)

To be more precise I changed my Newgens first name from Duban to Anderson.

My first team LB also called Duban is now called Anderson too
