The son easter egg can be proc'd, by saving a day before the youth recruitment and then reloading the game till your “son” appears as a youth recruit if that's your goal.

I never recommend merging as I have tried many times and it always causes issues

If the editor data files are from the same country, you won't be able to merge them and you can only use one when starting a new career. If they aren't from the same country, there's no need to merge them and you can run them together at the same time.

They aren’t from the same country (Canada-USA) but at the same time I tried running both But to no avail so I decided to merge them both since they weren’t from the same country but still no progress. The main issue is that when starting the game Both fmf files somehow interfere with each other’s league settings. Would appreciate it if you could test it. 

 

TLDR; as the title says I'm trying to merge two databases into 1 massive database so I can start a new game. I tried merging them with the editor but I can't seem to correct the error that occurs before game setups in the main menu even though after verifying the database there was no error in the editor. 

attached below are the two files I'm trying to merge into one, and also the merged output I created if anyone could help correct this I would be eternally grateful plus anyone can use it afterwards.

same I love the standard kits used till fm18 a shame a lot of modders on here didn't really fancy it over the years as only a small number of kits were made using this template. if you were to make the new season I'm sure id download it.

should use an advanced forward then an advanced playmaker behing the striker then two inside forwards. works wonders for me.
