It's not just the fake.inc folder, but also the fake.edt folder (I think). There's a reason why I suggest downloading and installing the whole file

I'm having problems fixing the german national team and the japanese national team...but do I just have to wait until the next international selection happens for it to change?

I have the same problem. I did delete the fake.inc file, but when the next selections came up.. Germany were still grey players. For the record, I don't need to start a new game right?
