Killing Them Softly. Interesting film, lots of stylistic touches and some great acting, but there were some bits that didn't quite work for me. Thought there were a few too many dialogue scenes where he was trying to pull a Tarrantino but they didn't quite work as well.

Overall I liked it though, certainly a better experience to watch and think about than a lot of the crap we've had this summer. Worth a watch.

What are you talking about? Shelvey's is not two footed. Evans' is, or at least a lot more two footed than Shelvey's.

Agger and Borini should only be out for a couple of weeks so we should cope.

Our next 3 league games are very winnable. 9 points from them and we're back on track.

EDIT: Also apparently in the next Being Liverpool episode there's a part with Rodgers talking to Shelvey telling him he needs to stay on his feet when he tackles. Whoops

Van Persie's yesterday wasn't great either. Personally I think a yellow was probably enough but you've seen people sent off for similar, like Gerrard at OT last year (although that one was probably worse).

You absolutely can. Evans goes in with two at the ball, Shelvey doesn't.

I'll admit that Shelvey deserved to get sent off, but its ludicrous that Evans didn't get anything for his. That's why I'm annoyed.

I haven't played the MGS games for so long. Used to absolutely love them when they first came out. Might get that HD collection on my 360 at some point, doesn't have the first game though.

Yeah I think Shelvey's red was deserved, but Evan's getting nothing was a poor decision in my opinion. He was two footed and not fully on the ball too.

Not saying he isn't a talent just saying he should not have played based on the simple facts that he's only had one good game for the first team, he's only 18 and that he gave the ball away which cost Liverpool a goal.

Not a place to make your debut when you're team are down to 10 men.

Thought he did alright, all things considered. I'm surprised Henderson wasn't in his place for the change but Suso is probably the better option in the final third. He's more of a playmaker type which was what Rodgers will have wanted.

We outplayed United for the entire match even with 10 men and eventually got undone by a brilliant goal against the run of play and a contentious decision. Because Sahin isn't fully fit yet and isn't really the type of player that will run around and press - which Henderson is.

Nah difference is, Evans was very static in comparison.

Shelvey went aggressively chasing after the ball and had a lot more momentum going into that tackle.

Shelvey's tackle was silly and reckless I agree, but I really think Evan's is just as bad.

Watch that again - Evans does exactly the same thing as Shelvey but he's the one that gets hit first. A yellow and talking to would have been fine imo.

Well it is just a commercial for the club to try and hook in more fans from the States. Its an American production and the club had final say on the editing and content so its obviously going to very show-y. Can't really see people in this country who aren't Liverpool fans getting an awful lot from it, but its only the first episode so it might get better.
