The heater on mine packed up a few weeks ago so i got the parts to fix that and sorted that (was only about £100 but still) also put 3 new tyres on it and now it needs like £700 worth of work doing to it

Meanwhile my old Mini passes its MOT every year without a single problem

Apparently we're trying to sign Moussa Dembele from Fulham. Should be fun for the commentators if it happens.

Thanks Cattermole, that's probably the only way we'll score today.

Maybe not then. I didn't expect that German bloke to come on and be worse than Titus Bramble.

Didn't Barcelona still sign Turan and Vidal even though they were banned? Pretty sure Real and Atletico will do the same.

Was at the Spurs game last night. Draw would've been the right result but fair play to Leicester for not giving up despite being crap. Typical Spurs performance though, dominate the game, keep Mahrez, Vardy and Kante quiet all night and then leave a big donkey like Huth free in the area to stick it in the top corner. Also please sell Lamela, I think i've finally had enough of that guy.

We're away at Colchester in the 4th round if we beat Leicester in the replay. Might try and get to that if it happens, not too far for me to travel.

Best manager ever? What have you been smoking?

I think you're both undermining the quality of the Champions League (Which is the elite competition of Europe) while failing to understand that the premier league is an extremely competitive competition, as opposed to the SPL which has generally been dominated by 1 or 2 teams for the past however many years. I think qualifying for the champions league is an amazing acheivment. There's over 20 levels of English football and only the top 4 of the very top tear qualify for it.

Just qualifying for something isn't an achievement in any way when you're a club the size of Arsenal, you should be winning it. I know Wenger thinks finishing 4th is as good as winning a trophy but it really isn't. Also its no surprise that one of the top 4 teams in the country, Arsenal, are finishing in the top 4 is it?

How is Wenger underrated? Isn't he thought of as one of the best PL managers ever and maybe even the best Arsenal manager ever? I'd say he is. Also I love it when gooners bring up the "we've qualified for the CL 16 times in a row" thing like its some kind of amazing achievement

What a pass though, Alderweireld has to be the best CB in the league this season. Its no coincidence that we have the best defensive record in the league after his arrival. £10m or whatever it was is a steal.

Am I the only one he really thinks that Spurs have a real chance of winning the title? They are playing great football and are right up there, and I can see Arsenal dropping off due to injuries and City as well, especially with Kompany out for another month!

Yes, we aren't ruthless enough when it matters most. Another good striker is desperately needed incase Kane gets a lengthy injury and I don't see why we dont just go all out for someone like Lacazette or maybe even Pato, just as long as its not Berahino. 4th is probably the best we can do this season but it really wouldn't surprise me if we ended up down in 6th or something.

About fucking time that red card. Players been getting away with blatant reds all season against us.

Also those Mourinho scarves are so pathetic, imagine being the dumb cunt walking around trying to sell them. He's even managed to spell United wrong at the bottom as well, 'UNTED'

Our game was called off today due to a waterlogged pitch. Right decision too as Whalley, the flooded village where residents had to evacuate that was the main national news earlier in the day, is only 10-15 mins drive from Blackburn (and only 3 or 4 mins from me if you're interested!) so you get an idea of just how much rain has fallen here haha.

Luckily I'm going to Bolton on Monday lunchtime so don't have to wait long for a game, and we should win - Rotherham stuck 4 past 'em today!

First time anyone has ever said that.

Butland

Bellerin
Smalling
Alderweireld
Monreal

Mahrez
Ozil
Payet

Vardy
Ighalo
Lukaku

Every time I've watched him his tek is ridiculous

Couldn't put a fraud like Barkley in there either so I didn't know who to go with

Payet, De Bruyne, Arnautovic and possibly Coutinho off the top of my head.

Decided to come back to this again, I just couldn't resist it!

January - May

The form towards the end of the first half of the season was a little bumpy, but thankfully it didn't carry over to the start of the second half. We began it with eight wins from nine in all competitions including a 2-0 win over Chelsea with Jonas Hoffman grabbing seven goals in that run. The second leg with Chelsea was a draw, sending us into the Champions League quarter finals against Fenerbahce. By the time we faced the Turkish outfit, we had strung together the start of another unbeaten run by winning four league games, so we went into the game with confidence. It turned out to be a pretty easy couple of games against them as we won 6-2 on aggregate, but rather annoyingly we did lose 3-2 to title rivals Dortmund inbetween those Champions League games.

We would face Bayern in the Champions League and DFB Pokal semi finals, meaning three games in two weeks against the Bavarians. The Champions League games would both come first and to my surprise, we won the first leg 2-0 at home! I fielded a reserve team against Stuttgart in a 4-1 win before we played out the second leg. One away goal would probably be enough to secure a place in the final, but it all looked to be going wrong when Bayern raced into a 3-0 lead. Thankfully we pulled ourselves together and stopped the goals going in. Then in the second half Ricken grabbed that crucial away goal for us to level the scores on aggregate and give us the advantage. Bayern kept coming forward, but we held out and claimed a spot in the Champions League final against Man Utd I played the reserves again this time against Bremen to keep the players as fresh as possible for the German cup semi final. Bayern were obviously still suffering from that defeat in Europe as we outplayed them all game and could've easily scored about ten. 5-1 the final score and a game against Freiburg in the final the prize.

Back in the league, we continued to win games. In fact we dropped just nine points in the entire second half of the season. Amazingly despite finishing on 78 points, which would've been enough to win the league in each of the last six seasons, we came third. Bayern and Dortmund were just unstoppable. Nevermind though, we still had two finals to look forward to. First up was the German cup which looked to be heading to extra time until Gaudino and Dahlmann scored two late goals to give us a 3-1 victory and my first "great success" in the German Cup. Next up was the big one against Man Utd. European finals are always something to look forward to...usually. But this one saw all the action come in the first 25 minutes. January signing Renatinho gave us the lead on 12 minutes before Bagayoko, the best player in the world, equalised 10 minutes later. The third and final goal came in the 25th minute, scored by.........another SCHALKE January signing Carlinhos! We dominated the rest of the game, but literally nothing much happened. My second Champions League trophy with a second team, what a way to end the season!

As said previously, the top two were just too good this time.

Schalke, the 2028 Champions League winner!

One final thing, I am thinking about leaving Schalke and Germany after that perfect end. My contract is about to expire and Barcelona have just sacked their manager. I am also the bookies favourite to get the job so I think you can see what i'm about to try and do

Spurs vs Fiorentina
FC Midtjylland vs Man Utd
Augsburg vs Liverpool

Spurs got a potentially tricky one but the other English teams should win easily. Dortmund vs Porto looks like a decent matchup.
