Got the game yesterday and have a slight issue with using the file. When I go to steamapps and then common, there is no Football Manager 2017 file, just my FM16 and FM16 editor file. Never had anything like this before where the games file isn't actually there. The game runs fine so was wondering if there is anyone who knows how to help. Thanks guys.

Those are for the 1630 folders right? Everything looks in order there.

And you're starting a new game and the German players are still not appearing? Or are you referring to a save game you've started already?

Yes those are in the 1630 file, its on a new save and no changes on league names or german national team

I need to see the contents on the edt and lnc folders, sorry for not having been clear.

Not if you are starting with the 16.3 database.

Let's have a look at the screenshots and it can be easily solved

Is there anyway in which I could overwrite the fake german national team? Thats the main thing as I can use the editor to change the names of comps etc...

You need to place the edt and lnc files in the 1600, 1601 and 1630 edt and lnc folders. The dbc files in the present download are ideally to be used only when placing them in the 1630 folder.

Which part in particular are you struggling with? Have you watched the YouTube video for visual guidance on how to correctly install the files?

Yes I have, I've downloaded the files and then replace the relevant files (lnc etc...) and then place the correct files in the editor data. When I load the game up nothing changes
