Make sure your folder location is set correct https://community.sigames.com/faq/football-manager-2020/238_how-to/241_pc/how-to-change-the-sports-interactive-folder-location-r855/

So for Logos for instance it is your standard, Sports Int, FM2020, Graphics, Logos - then kits follows suit, SI, FM20, Graphics, Kits - Skins is SI, FM2020, Graphics, Skins

That’s it basically, everything in there extracted etc

Folks, played FM for many years, bar last year and have always added kits, logos, skins etc. Absolutely cannot donut this time. Using PC, downloading, extracting etc, putting into Graphics/Kits folder and so on. No joy and yes, have ticked the right preference boxes etc. Even tried doing away with the kits/skins folders and putting them all straight into the graphics folder, makes no difference! Can anyone help?

I've started a new save with Brentford in League 1 and until now it works great.

Only things I've changed/added:

-) added "Work Ball Into Box" and "Play Out Of Defence" - with this two team instructions enabled and some player instructions set, I think it gives me a "package" of all, just how I want it. So, sometimes we play a quick direct passing, sometimes we pass the ball patiently and wait for our chances and sometimes we also shoot from distance and find the back of the net. It reminds me a little bit of my real time favourite team, Liverpool.

-) added "Stay On Feet" instead of "Get Stuck In" - I just want my players to stay on their feet, because this a really important thing in case of high pressing.


I think the four highlights of our results so far - a 2:2 draw against Arsenal, two really great wins against the Championship side Burnley and a 9:0 Pre-Season win against Chelmsford.

Done pretty much the same as you, stay on feet, work ball into box - have also taken off the 'shoot more often' tab on the forward players as I found a lot of the shots were from silly positions - now they will still take shots on but also wait for the through ball. Lost first game of season 3-0 to Man Utd (Liverpool save) but not lost a game since then, beat Barca away in UCL, now gone around 15 games unbeaten. Only worry is injuries, got around 16 good 1st teamers, then all the back-up is pretty much all youth but good youth all the same. Bought Rondon to act as cover for Sturridge but is scoring for fun in either Strikers role, great all-rounder

ok to walk you through it, downloaded kit files to-

my documents/sports interactive/football manager 2014/graphics/pictures/kits.

if any of the files above don't exist (such as 'graphics' one), create them.

in game, go into 'preferences' and then 'interface'. make sure that the 'use cache to decrease...' is unticked and 'reload skin when...' is ticked.

I would redownload one of the kit files (maybe the german one) from this site and try that on its own. placing it in the 'kit' file. let me know if that works.


yeah done all that, no joy - am wondering if I am doing the right thing when the file originally downloads as a .rar? What I have done is send that to a compressed file so it appears with the zipped icon, then extract all, so I end up with three files if you like in the Kits file for one kit

yeah, seem to be, got club badges, comp logo's etc all ok - don't use facepacks yet for fear of clogging up the PC as the file sizes seem massive - on previous FM14 save had kits working fine, but got new PC now and just seem to have a problem with kits now

Have never had problems with kits, logos, badges...........
Got new PC, so started over completely fresh - on FM14 now got all the badges, logo's etc I want - am playing at Wolfsburg and can I get any kits to work, no - tried everything I can think of and everything I have done successfully in the past and nothing will work.

Am not a novice at this, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, can someone just take me through, step by step how to get kit downloads to work on FM14 - literally a complete idiots guide as now I am starting to doubt myself!!!!

Please can someone talk me through, individual step by step, idiots guide to getting kits to work - got badges, logo's etc etc, had kits working on other FM14 saves, but got new PC, had clear out and now, no kits will load for the life of me.
Please help!!!!!
