Am i alone in thinking Everton will struggle this season? Can see them being the surprise team in the bottom half, sold Lukaku and haven't really replaced him. Seem to be relying on Rooney (which is bonkers), Lukaku scored nearly half their goals in the league last season. Going to be a Martinez style regression imo.

Yeah something like that seems about right, Solanke has looked good in preseason but still a bit green i think. As for a replacement, that's what I'm worried about, hoping Klopp doesn't just use some of the money to bring in VVD and then not sign a replacement.

Looks like Coutinho is off, apparently a deal worth upto 108 million has been agreed. Have to say I'd expect more tbh, when you think United spent 90 million on Pogba last year and some of the transfers we've seen this season.

Just hope we bring in VVD and another midfielder now though to replace Coutinho

EDIT: looks like its just ESPN reporting it atm so might still be bollocks

They can because its clear the FFP transfer bans are absolutely useless, and clubs aren't scared of them. Had loads of bans recently and it barely makes a difference to teams.

Yeah its only a good thing having another pacey attacking player, especially now we'll have Champions League games to play in as well.

Also it seems clear Klopp isn't that fussed about us having a traditional striker, personally don't see that as a bad thing tbh. We have Lallana, Coutinho, Mane, Firmino & now Salah, you'd realistically expect at least 10 goals each from them. Plus we still have Origi who will chip in with a few as well as Ings coming back from injury.

Turns out its actually 39 million euros, so same price we spent on Mane basically. Looking forward to seeing him, been mega in Serie A as Based Jorge says. Seems like were going back in for Van Dijk as well, nice to see FSG giving Klopp the money he needs.
