Pre-season 2016

Considering I had over £25 million to spend, not much was done during pre-season brought in two players for the first team and two hot prospects. Out the door was all youngsters who I felt I was holding back their career by keeping them at the club, also a few loans.

I felt I needed a replacement for the departed Joe Ledley, in came Stuart Armstrong. He's Scottish and extremely versatile, what more could I ask for? He's scored a fair few and made more assists for Dundee Utd so I'm hoping for more of the same.

Despite his coach reports I think the former Rangers youth player can become a great finisher, not a world beater but I'm sure he's more than capable of putting the ball in the net. I plan on loaning him out this season.

This is the one I'm excited about. He has 21 Bundesliga appearances under his belt and scored 19 goals and 8 assists in 34 for Schalke II last season.

Another youngster brought in on a free, loaned out to Hamilton for the season. He'll probably spend the next 2/3 season out on loan before he gets a shot at the first team.

What an achievement, considering we only get 1.5 points/goal considered to 2, by the stoker. No interest in him at the moment, hopefully we can keep hold of him.

Nice to be offered but we're on the up. Attendance's are up 5000 from the 2013/14 season, we have two Champions League Quarter Finals and a Last 16 under out belt. I still have another 5 league titles to wrap up and a Champions League to win.

April - May 2016

A 2-1 win over Real Madrid was not enough to overturn the first leg but impressive nonetheless. We finished the league campaign strong with 94 points (my target), still just shy of the 100 points but an improvement on last year. We score one goal more than last season and conceded just 0.55 goals/game beating my target.

PSG might have a shit load of money, but the don't have Jordan Rhodes. However the Bernabau looks to be where the trip ends, not a bad result but no way we can turn it around. On a positive note, another league title wrapped up. 5 in a row, 5 to go.

I was disappointed to go out the Scottish Cup after 210 minutes plus pens, but our tactic clicked just that bit too late. We've been defensively solid conceding only 12 in the past 36 (excluding the Chelsea match), and now that the teams adjusted were scoring a fare few too. Finally managed that win over Rangers and took the gap at the top to 19 points. We even managed to beat mega money PSG in the first leg of the Champions League last 16.

A poor month for us, implemented big tactical changes. I'll go in to things more at the end of the season when I am completely happy with it. Surprise draws with bottom half St Johnstone, Ross County and Hibs but can't complain as there was changes to both the squad and tactics.

I was desperate for cover for Scott Brown in the DM position and Joe Ledley fit the bill. Fairly cheap wages on loan and a former player, hopefully it works out well of everyone.

I needed to bring in a permanent back-up keeper as Thorsten Kirschbaum was unhappy and requested to terminate his loan. Decent wages for a back up when you consider Luskasz Zaluska was on £8k p/w. Could turn out to be a great keeper.

Another midfield option as we were a bit thin there the first half of the season, as a Celtic fan he gets to end his career at the club. Still got it and will be an excellent tutor.

Another draw with Rangers. We dominated but they got lucky from a set piece. The rest of the month went well, however the gap remained 15 points. Id put my success this half of the season to being more tactical diverse than the previous two seasons. Planning on converting from 442 to 4141 next season and selling a striker.

Great season mate! You've made some excellent transfers!

Everton are a team I've always favoured, I play a game with them every year but never managed anything better than 4th.
