OK, So due to time constraints and a lot of friendlies (which we don't control personally) in between matches I'll just post a summary update on my session.

I played from June 24th-August 24th. During that time we played 3 competitive matches and the rest were friendlies, the results as follows:

To be honest the friendly results don't concern me THAT much. We were unlucky to lose the German Super Cup against Dortmund. But it was encouraging to see us being competitive against the current Bundesliga champions.

Through the first round of the DFB Pokal exacting some revenge against Osnabruck was good. We have drawn Stuttgart away from home in the next round.

Started the season off well with an away win is great!

On to transfers now. My 2 months in charge saw a fair amount of wheeling & dealing. I managed to bring in no less than SIX players, all which I feel will benefit the pool of players we have available for selection.

Cream of the crop has to be the loan of Anichebe. He will be great for us this coming season and will fit our Poacher role well. Van Weert is a talent with some excellent current and potential ability. Gary Coulibaly became available on a free and wanted a decent wage so I brought him in on a 1-year-deal.

Sergis Adamyan, I felt, would never be good enough to really excel in the Bundesliga so I got rid. Same goes for Christian Norgaard (loan with a view to purchase for £250,000). Also I have offered Engel to clubs for £100k as I doubt he'd cut it at this level. The rest are all youth who are out on loan for first team experience.

Also worth noting we made a profit of £22m last year!

excellent news! And our season tickets boomed by an extra 4,900 sales!

Back to the league action and two solid wins have helped us cement top spot by 5 points over Nurnberg.

OK so our friendly results were a mixed bag but I didn't pay much attention to them as I wasn't taking control of the team directly.

Also, I released Miete from his contract, felt a bit bad about it as he has served us well but I felt that he was past his best and still on almost £5k per week. Plus I felt that Nicolai Walther is ready for some first-team football so I'm going to give him a run in the side. So I brought in a youngster with decent ability and great potential as a replacement:

One last thing, we have been offered this guy for £100k now or free at the end of the season. He would do well for us even in the Bundesliga I think but he wants around £10k per week:
