Maybe you missed the delete steps.
As it should be impossible that files are appearing out of nowhere, if I understood the issue right
OPEN
Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2022\data\database\db\2200DELETE only the dbc , edt and lnc folders
OPEN
Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2022\data\database\db\2201DELETE only the dbc , edt and lnc folders
