Not too sure if this is the correct forum for my question. 

How reliable a source of info is the website Transfermrket? I know in terms of deals and contract extension it's sound.

In Slavia Prague B team there is a played called Martin Subert. In FM22 he's a CB and his height is 198 cm and then according to Transfermrket he is a CM and his height is 179 cm. That's almost 2ft of a difference. I can't find anything on Slavia's website about the player, for some reason their B teams page isn't working.

I think it might be end of the month before we see an update. I think Miles posted something on Twitter on the 2nd March about a delay, then again on the 10th this must take into account what's happening at Chelsea. I believe there's a link on Steam in which you can view the progress of the update

Yeah it seems that way. We can only hope that it's fixed

Haha yesterday was a long day. Glad I know what to do now, who knows in the next update it might be fixed so the default language is the actual language used for the player 

Yeah basically what I needed to do was click in the dropdown and type Czech and then select it. It's worked by doing that.

I am about to start a save as Slavia Prague and I have added some of their youth players into the game. The players that I have added are all from The Czech Republic, when I click on the players in the game, it shows that English is their main language and there is no sign of Czech.

In the editor data, under the language tab when creating a new player it defaults to the nationality of the player. So I shouldn't have to add Czech as their main language. Anyone know how to fix this?

I suspect they will and ban Russian teams from Europe for the 21-22 season, will they do it for future season who knows I guess. They will defo ban the Russian team from entering the World Cup 2022. I think the next update will be delayed due to this. I think it's due out middle of this month but I reckon could be end of the month or next month before it's out. 

In terms of the Russian league no idea what they will do with that, but pointless playing it if you can't get into Europe. 

Yeah I would agree with you, it's very strange. Maybe someone who's more clued up in building games or coding might know. My advice would be use the link below and report the error.

It's a pain in the ass. SI have said that a number of people have raised this issue. Last year's 2nd part of the winter update was out on the 15th March. So hopefully this year's will be out around the same time. 

I can't understand why nobody at SI tested this out before the release. They should have a checklist of things to tick off before releasing the update. 

Has anyone got an updated facepack for the J League after the most recent update?

I know the second winter update last year which included the Russian and Chinese transfers was released on 15th March. So we might be looking at something similar this year. I really do hope they do release a minor update next week. 

I don't understand why something that's worked in the previous updates no longer works in this update. There's a saying if it ain't broken don't fix it.

Annoying that need to wait for the next update which will be in the middle of March for this to be fixed. I hope they release a minor update within the next few days.

Yeah no worries at all. They always release a minor update after a major one, I would imagine it's a easy fix from there end. Let's hope they release an update next week or that.

So after the new data update I can't seem to get my own picture in the game when starting a new save. I know there's other players having the same issue. I was wondering if there was some whiz kid who knows of another way to load your pic into the game?

SI know about this error, whether they do anything about it is another thing.

SI are aware of the issue. It's under review with the Arts and Animations team, I suspect it should be an easy fix. I hope the release a minor update in the next day or two

Massive praise for the people who created the data update and to the people who contributed, defo made the game more playable IMO.

In terms of new features or small updates, I am not really sure you can do much more. 

I think it's an issue SI will need to address. Can't fathom what they've done for it not to work. Clearly something has happened, as with all updates there's always something that goes tits up that worked before. 

Would you not be able to look at your new profile, then use the ID number attributed to that profile?

Whatever pic you use rename that with your ID number and add your picture to the graphics folder open the config using notepad and add in your profile number into the file and save. Also drop your profile pic in the graphics folder too.

Go back into the game and reload the skin to see what happens. 

I've just found out the file that I've downloaded that contained him. Thanks for letting me know, at least if anyone else has him twice then they will know he's not been added in your files 👍

Has anyone been Sparta Prague in FM22?

I have just started a save and under the expectations for the season their owner has tasked me at minimum to reach the Champions League Semi Final……….WTF

I can't even remember Sparta Prague being in the group stages of the Champions League in recent years let alone attempt to reach the Semi Final. 

I checked in the editor files and under the club visions there is no sign of reaching the Semi Finals. It says win the league, play attacking football and the board aren't bothered about the Czech Cup. So I am baffled as to why the Champions League objective appears.

I know in real life their owner is a very successful businessman, he's a billionaire and he's got some involvement at West Ham. For a team that last won it's league in 2013/14 season it's a fair old task I've been set. I was wondering if anyone else has been them and encountered such a ludicrous objective. 

I guess it depends on what you're looking for. If it's game improvement or bugs getting addressed then the SI update is what's needed. If it's updated information like players moving or contracts being extended then the data update on this site is excellent. The data gets updated every day, so for example if someone transfers to a club today then if you start a new save tomorrow then the player will be at his new club. 

You're better using the data update from here IMO

I am trying to edit the the sub numbers in the Portuguese league and cups. I know how to amend the number of subs, but when it comes to testing the rules it comes with error rules for junior leagues it could not find rules for division with 55 teams. I haven't even made changes to those leagues, I have only updated the sub numbers in the top league and the cups. So I am unable to verify any changes made.
