I get a bit attached to players like this in my saves, even more-so if I don't know who they are in real life and they perform. This save I had a guy called Marinho score the winning goal to get us promoted at the age of 36, instantly retired and so was straight into my coaching staff. He's garbage but it's nice

Recently I've been playing a save in Portugal, a league I haven't spent much time in, after getting a bit bored of the 'bigger' leagues. Started with Academica who are in the second tier and won promotion first time around. Built a decent squad to keep them up but then got offered the Sporting job in November and jumped ship as my Aca side was starting to struggle with scoring goals. However, since making the change, the save has been a f*cking nightmare
Portugal is a weird league where the majority of transfers are in the 10s of thousands, then hundreds of thousands if you're Braga before jumping to the big 3 who spend more p/w on individual players than the total weekly wage budget at Academica.

Not too disimilar then ended up sticking 2 up top as we just couldn't score goals. Finished the season with the worst attack and defence...

Using the 3 you've shown, the 'attacking' mentality of the wingbacks would mean they are high, the centre midfielders will all be joining in the attack as they are on 'support'. There is also a high possibility that your centre-backs have joined in as 'ball playing defenders' look to do. Unless you've a very talented squad (like Man City in FM18) I'd recommend having at least 1 defender who isn't a BPD to provide a bit more cover.

Hopefully done over the weekendManaged to do it today. Qualified for the tournament and went out in the last 8 to eventual winners Senegal after winning our group. Mahrez (as to be expected with any team I play with) was our WORST player, I never get good players playing well! Almost didn't bother taking him to the competition.
