Got it working with no issues with the players but when i'm putting on the filter with the staff faces the view doesnt change so im getting real life staff plus newgens. Any idea what i could be doing wrong?

Can you attach the file you've edited? As well as a screenshot showing where it's located. You should make sure it's in all 5 of the 2200, 2201, 2210, 2230 and 2240 lnc folders.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Manage to sort it, i just put the previous release back in 2430 folder and it resolved the issue

If you have already started a save-game and wish to change German, Spanish, Italian and French club names to the correct ones, there is a workaround. However, you will lose the club nicknames.

Open the City, Club and Stadium Names.lnc file with Notepad (on Windows) and TextEdit (on Mac). All the changes I've made in the editor data file are included in this file, however they are preceded by a hashtag (#) which makes the lnc file ignore any text following it.

You can remove the hashtags from in front of any of the "CLUB_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" and "CLUB_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" codes which you wish to change, and this will ensure these changes are displayed in your save game.

For Notepad, all you need to do is: Select the edit menu, click the replace option, type #"CLUB in the first field and "CLUB in the second and click replace all. Then save and close. Shouldn't take more than 3 seconds if you do it right 🙂

Instead of

#"CLUB_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 915 "FC Bayern München" ""
#"CLUB_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" 915 "FC Bayern" ""

you should have

"CLUB_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 915 "FC Bayern München" ""
"CLUB_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" 915 "FC Bayern" ""

Basically:
Using an lnc
Pro: Can be used (and disabled) after a save game has been started
Con: Removes club nicknames for those teams whose name has been edited

Using the editor data file
Pro: Retains club nicknames
Con: Needs to be applied before starting a new game

Can anyone help with this one? I think i've done it wright as Bayern are showing as FC Bayern Munchen but Man Utd are still showing as Manchester UFC?

Open config file by a Notepad, use the shortcut CTRL+H and type in the first search box: /2000 and in the second one to be replaced: /r-2000

When it replaces all the lines, do it again just type /2001, then /2002 and /2003

Thank you! Absolutely gutted when i loaded my game and all the terrible faces came back!

Evening, I've downloaded the full pack plus update but noticed Gabriele Biancheri at Man Utd on my save doesn't have a pic but when i search on here in the cut outs there is a picture for him. Just wondering if he should be in the megapack?

I don't have the following folder in this file location. I have 2300 and 2330 but not 2340: Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\database\db\2340

Any ideas why?

That just sorts them similar to the way i mentioned in the first part rather than the below like when you initially start the game

Does anyone know how to get the Staff View back to the way it is as default? I pressed to sort by job by accident and now can get it back to it showing all senior staff and their roles then u23 staff and their roles instead it looks something like this:

Senior Squad - Manager - Name

U23 Squad - Manager - Name

U18 Squad - Manager - Name

Senior Squad - Assistant Manager - Name

U23 Squad - Assistant Manager - Name

U18 Squad - Assistant Manager - Name

Where as it normally looks like this:

Senior Squad - Manager - Name

Senior Squad - Assistant Manager - Name

Senior Squad - Coach - Name

Hope that makes sense 🙂

Apply the workaround in the first post, and instead of removing the hashtag from in front of all the entries, just do so for the Juventus and Juventus U23 entries 👍

I've carried on my beta save and all the names have worked without me having to do anything except for Juve, they are still in as Zebre. Any idea how to get around changing just their name without loosing nicknames etc for everyone else?

Not exactly, it shouldn't go in your OneDrive folder as it causes loads of issues.

It'll probably be something you didn't quite do correctly.

Have you changed the preferences as per the opening post? Can I have a screenshot of the location you've placed them in?

Pretty sure done everything as per opening post.

Let's start with Greenwood... type "28121564.png" into a computer search and see if you have actually downloaded the update properly...if it is indeed showing up and in the correct location...namely your Megapack folder, then perhaps you can also post a screenshot so we can see it's in the right place?

It's quite easily displayed in this video, if you want to give it a go...

Just tried it and still not working. Also ive noticed that in the database search there should be images for mason greenwood and harvey neville and they arent loading in my game either

I genuinely can't see anything wrong. The player is included in the config file and in update pack 11.01, and he's displaying in my game. That said, I continually update my config file to take into account new cuts added to my folder from here, so it could be that it's now correct. I'll add it to 11.02 to be safe, but in the meantime try generating a new config file using fmXML, maybe that'll work for you. Do you know how to do this?

Cos it seems like he's somehow not being displayed in our database either, despite his icon being visible He is included in the config and his image is in the MP folder as well.

I'll have to investigate further

To be honest i didn't try anyone else.... Just searched and looks like others are working but not that one

I've added as word doc as couldn't print screen images for some reason

I've downloaded the latest version, put it in graphics etc. Loaded the game, cleared cache, reloaded skin and the latest faces aren't showing

Any ideas anyone?
