Due to hard-coded licensing restrictions by SI, it is not possible to have both long and short names for Portuguese clubs, i.e. they must be identical. Any changes you make in an editor data file are quite simply ignored by the game and the only way is to change them via the lnc file.

But from which year? FM16?
I remember two or three years ago the long name and the short still could be different, just the oringinal one is fake like FCP and SLB.

Why the Portugal club name changes does not work?
I mean the workaround for save game.
And can you do a editor data version for Portugal club name changes?
