@mons Came across with a better source so you do not need to fix the previous one.

I will fix the rest of the Hong Kong Cuts made as all of them seemed problematic

@mons the cut provided previously should be rejected @Gordonnn  due to snow and blurry.

Original source used for the previous cut would be insufficient for even a 180px cut

@mons depends on which 1 you prefer
first is without forcefully enlarging the png but kept more area below neck
second would be slightly enlarging the png making it a bit blurry compared to first but less area below chin

@Andrei Litz well you don't just take the cuts from DF11 and request it as a source as they would never be large enough for a 250x250 cut.

@mons

Based on this photo, there is a chance that you have overdone the brightness of the cut

No worries.

Am I right in saying it is now on the right person's timeline? (I can't remove the image on the previous wrong person's timeline, but it will no longer be in the config)

Yes it is, thanks Mons

I would tend to agree, but between rotating it to be upright, clone stamping it and adding a collar, it might be easier just to cut the original source again from scratch.

I mean, the existing 250x250 cut is good enough so won't bother working on the new source as the new source would be better at 180px instead

@mons the source probably would not make an improved cut of the existing cut so just leave it there

@mons you may want to take a look at this cut, there are white parts mixed in the cut that may require fixing.

He is the duplicate ID of this player so for the icon you may want to use the same one I uploaded for this:

What are the odds @Ttggfr ?

That's why one should mark images they're working on 😉

@Alongkod Sara, can you upload the original image without the background for this person please? This cut is not in the correct dimensions, has a fair bit of snow/artifacts and isn't cut very smoothly.

Have a look at this thread for guidelines for cutters and video tutorials on what we expect for from our cuts 👍

I recommend using remove.bg for your cuts. It's a fantastic free online tool which does the heavy lifting for you by removing the background in the source image, leaving you to only rotate, crop and/or nudge the collar upwards. It's tremendously easy to use and provides fantastic quality. With it, you can go from source to cut in a couple of minutes for the vast majority of images.

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons 😉 If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

Source is from a linkedin profile pic, see if you guys that has a linkedin account can deal with it.

@Ernesttico thanks for the cut, it seemed nice other than this one part of the background seemed to have mixed in the cut. May you fix it during your spare time? Thanks

@mittadj Appreciate the work you did, seems like a good cut made by remove.bg

However, there are still unwanted white outlines called snow around the hair and the beard, I will fix this one but you may want to check the rest of your uploads yourself.

I can appreciate the sentiment but I'll be tweaking this a bit to remove the hand and cropping it closer to the head. Do you have the original source for him so I can re-cut it and keep it in 250x?

Hello to everyone. I'm setting profile pictures for Ajax technical team. But I couldn't remember who this two person was. Can you help me? (I found it from one of the old works. Maybe it has nothing to do with Ajax. I really have no idea.)

Do you have a date of when was the past work being made? I doubt they are from the current Ajax staff

Great cuts as always @Ttggfr, but consider using auto-contrast on sources like this - it brings out a bit more vibrancy to the final cuts 🙂

Thanks for the suggestion. However for most of the times, using auto contrast would make the cut unrealistic. Sometimes the cuts have lips that are too red and skintone that are not like the real person, so I have uploaded it untouched. (Sources are often times first hand photos so therefore I know)
