Really didn't want Juve to win

Nobody did, apart from the shambolic referee.

I'm just looking forward to their next European failure, where they don't get everything they get in Italy.

Can't believe Everton didn't equalise at the end. Blackett's block was excellent.

Kick off at Chelsea delayed because of 'flares'.

Well that was annoying. It was a bit of a hoof the ball forward but we deserved to win and created the better chances. I can't believe Rhodes missed a penalty his first for us against Huddersfield as well. Josh King also missed alot of chances ones I think Gestede would have taken if he was fit.On a brighter note Duffy had a very good game in defence and we kept a much needed clean sheet. Just gutted we could not score. To be fair to Huddersfield they did still create chances and could of nicked it but overall I think we deserved it.

It was frustrating wasn't it. 2 points from Watford, Rotherham and Huddersfield is a major, major disappointment.

What's your opinion on Bowyer? I think most realise now that he's not going to get us promoted. Which is true and I'm of the same view, I respect him for steadying the ship (particularly towards the end of 12/13), getting more of a feel good factor back (no Murphy, Best, Orr, Etuhu etc and bringing in some good players and characters), but yeah.....he's not going to get us promoted so if that's our aim we'd need somebody else!

I wish we could see something like his run to win the penalty against France at Euro 2004 again. (For England in a major tournament preferably).

Liverpool in a bit of a sticky situation now, Madrid twice next whilst Basel have Ludogorets twice (who are alright but you'd think Basel would get at least 4 points).

The last game of the group v Basel at Anfield is looking a big one already.

3 points off Wolves. As normal. I think that's 7 wins in a row against them and only one defeat in 16 at their hands. 4 wins in a row at their place as well.

Not bad. Turned the corner now? If so, you'll beat us on Saturday....are you going?

Just got back from Rotherham. First half we were crap kept lumping it forward and Gestede also went off injured there goals were poor one after we couldn't clear a corner the other Steele with a very poor left footed clearance which hit Bechio and went in. Second half we were much better. Rhodes missed an absolute sitter which is very rare for him. Hanley and Duffy also had chances. But overall we were not good enough and deserved to lose. Duffy and Hanley at centre back are very shaky and at the moment we only seem to start playing when we are 2-0 down at half time.

It sounded absolutely terrible, glad I didn't go. Feel sorry for you because you did!

We might beat Huddersfield on Saturday (although I don't know, probably no Gestede and not sure where Cairney is up to with his injury) but there's no real point if we do.....because we've shown we're incapable of putting a couple of wins together (or even a couple of good results together) which could lift us up the table.

Yep, City were poor. Paul Scholes had it spot on about the atmosphere too - and that comment was before the match.

Thought Roma did well, especially first half, very impressive at times and the magician Totti a delight to watch yet again (the City fans that booed him off the pitch need to take a look at themselves). All this without De Sanctis, Castan, Astori, DDR and Strootman too.

Don't understand why City didn't put Skorupski under some serious pressure. Can only remember him tipping Lampard's 30 yard shot wide. I could have been in net for Roma tonight!

Zeman loves playing Inter away! That was a rare good day for him whilst still in charge at Roma a couple of years ago.

Vidic has had a nightmare so far this season yeah.

Elsewhere, Rooney is an idiot,

God knows what he was thinking (if he was thinking at all). If he wanted to commit a professional foul he should have just tripped him up rather than booting him. Seconds before though they didn't get a handball that Rooney appealed for, and we know how angry he gets when they don't get decisions.

Chadli getting booked was fucking pathetic.

I thought that too, mental. Are you not allowed to cup your ear to the crowd now? Same rule for the 'sshhh' and finger on lip then I'm guessing? Terrible, hopefully it was just a one-off. You won't be able to do anything soon at this rate!

Aye, big Jeff Stelling fan but saying "what can a manager do about two goals like that?" is bollocks. It's not about today it's about their dire form all year.

Villa shouldn't have been in such a rush to give Lambert that new deal, as Rick87 says at the top of this page.

No goals in the other games but Bony has been sent off or Swansea.

I thought he climbed too at first but Ferdinand or other QPR players didn't really complain about it. They should have done more to stop Moses' cross in, knowing Crouch was in there.

Yep, the better team did indeed win. As much as I wanted us to get an equaliser (was it Gestede with the header off the corner? or Duffy?) it would have been completely undeserved as they outplayed us to be honest. Especially in the first half anyway.

They played some nice football but I can't help but feel that we let them - Cairney and Evans didn't really do much in the middle to prevent them playing. I really like Cairney but Evans is worrying me a bit at the moment - he just doesn't do much apart from keep possession well with short passes. You wouldn't have known he was there last night but when Tunnicliffe came on, he was excellent, got in their faces etc and played some good passes forward. Shame he can't play this weekend.

Yep their 3rd goal was a push on Conway, although even though the ref didn't give a foul, we didn't have to go and let them score! So still poor defending. Well, it's been poor all season. 14 conceded in 7 now and if that carries on we'll just stay where we are now and where we were all last season - mid table. Bowyer needs to sort the defence out, Duffy has to play on Saturday but I think the problems run deeper than the personnel in defence to be honest.

Venky's were there? Didn't even know. Bastards. I think we won against Villa when they very first took over, Pedersen scored two, don't know if you remember!

Not surprised, went down without a fight last season and then have started this season poorly - one point from their last four games.

Really hope they don't get Pulis, cos then one of the promotion spots has gone already.

We're at home to Derby tonight, hopefully we can carry on from Saturday against Wigan.

It was a penalty to be fair. Was gutted for Ludogorets though, they did really well, that Marcelino is a good player.
