One of N'Zonzi's biggest strengths is keeping the ball on the ground and playing short, often simple, passes.

Just because he's tall doesn't mean he can't play.

He sounds good and Crewe have always produced good players, hope we can get him. The signings we've made so far have actually been pretty sensible, although anything is sensible compared to last summer's policy of buying half-motivated has-beens and never has-beens from the Premiership on huge wages. And to think there's some people out there that think penalties are a lottery! 13 out of the 14 taken were placed to perfection. Shame Italy didn't take one of their chances in the first half, or Giaccherini's in extra time but that one was unlucky.

Didn't Cisse have finishing 20 on the original version of FM 13? Was almost impossible to stop him scoring. Think it's gone down to 17 or 18 on the updates.

If they're proving that Carrick was United's 'midfield orchestrator' last season like it says then they've done that - although anybody with half a brain knew that he'd had a very good season anyway.

Surprised to see Ramsey so high on a few of those stats, wasn't he getting a fair bit of stick at times last season?

Was never a penalty, but Japan were well on top. Massive goal for Italy though by DDR, if the half had gone on 5 mins longer they'd have probably equalised.

Should be a good second half.

Jeez, just caught up with the highlights from the Brazil game. Neymar's finish for the first was top but his skill for Jo's goal was awesome.

It's probably their weakest squad for absolutely ages but yeah, still enough top players.

Could watch Neymar's goal all day, such good technique. Plenty of power but guided it and controlled it so well at the same time.

Everton is our 'curtain raiser' home friendly this year - pretty annoying as we were playing them at home every season pre-Venky's and had a decent chance of beating them in all those games. Now it's seen as some sort of glamour friendly.

Looks like Rudi Garcia is next in line to have a go as Roma boss. It's still a gamble due to him having no Serie A experience but it's a gamble probably worth taking - certainly when you compare it to the appointments of Luis Enrique, who had barely any managerial experience, and Zeman, who has never been nor never will be a successful manager of a big club.
