After two wins at home in a row, back to normal. Aside from Wolves and Peterborough losing, the only positive from today was Best getting sent off meaning he won't be seen again this season.

Good result tonight. First half we were poor (although Handanovic did make two awesome saves), but the second half was sweeeeet. Great balls by Lamela and DDR for Destro's two goals. And Torosidis' goal was a good hit.

Can't wait for the final, just a shame it's so long off.

Wigan are in good form but they've got some very tough fixtures, starting with City on Wednesday, plus Spurs home and Arsenal away I think. I hope this isn't the year they fail to get out of it, would much rather Stoke or Villa go down (out of those two I'd rather Stoke).

Might have a go at that BBC predictor thing when I get a bit of time.

Flamini's challenge tonight was a nasty one, deserving straight red. Saw the Palermo keeper's error too for Bologna's equaliser today, no idea what he was thinking.

Yeah true, whereas we've only got one home game left after Tuesday. Yep we do. Hanley, who's been our most consistent defender, and Kazim-Richards, who unlike most can actually trap the ball and pass it, are both banned.

Oh Malaga..........hard not to feel sorry for them but you should never be 2-1 up after 90 mins and end up losing 3-2.

Remy looks good? Dunno how much he'd cost though, or whether a bigger club may go for him.

And although Neville's getting on, Big Sam's pretty good with getting the best out of players coming towards the end of their career. Hierro, Djorkaeff, Salgado etc.
