Never mind just read your OP and I'd need to start a new game, such a shame as I have no clue who each Brazil team are going by their 3 letter codes

Do you know how to change the Brazil team names? I've tried already and failed miserably lol

One quick question, any way of getting the Japan national team records to appear? When I click on the 'History drop down there's nothing there.

Thank you so much!! I'm right at the end of my 6th season, it's 1 month before the World Cup, my FM17 crashed, and some of the files corrupted, I had to re-verify the integrity of the game files on steam which removed all the german/japanese team fixes I did right at the start of my save. I came to World Cup squad announcements and they'd all dissapeared

Your fix has saved my game save, as the fake German names ruins it for me, and yours is the first fix that I've found to work mid-save!!
