Then it's probably easier if I send you my version of FMxml, which works perfectly fine, and allows you to add new cuts in the future

Great, thanks a lot!

How big is your folder containing the cuts? Can you send it over and I'll do the config file for you? Easier that way

It's quite big, there's more than 1200 faces in there, is that ok?

In the facepack folder. If you have downloaded the images yourself, you can generate one based on the contents of your facepack folder using the methods outlined in this thread.

I've followed all the instructions, but after I tried to open fmXML, the application wouldn't work as its saying that certain files aren't opening. I've tried reinstalling it, but it's still showing the same error message. What should I do?

Do you have a config file in there? A config file is what tells the game to display the faces in the correct place. If it's not there, the faces can't display.

Where would the config file be? In the facepack folder or in the game files?

I've downloaded faces to use in FM 19, I put them into my graphics folder, the same way I have with my logos and kits, and the same as I have in previous games, and yet for some reason, the faces don't show up in the game. I've followed all the steps on how to install them, and have tried clearing my cache and reloading the skin countless times, and yet the faces still don't show up. I've attached a screenshot of the path folder, can anyone help me figure out why I'm having this issue?

So, September's come around and with it comes yet another Centre Back injury, with Lacroix out for 4 weeks, meaning I now have only 2 senior centre-backs, and there's only one man that can fix my defensive crisis. Step up... Steven Caulker

On the pitch, it's more of the same story: we're dominating most games but aren't clinical enough and it's costing us points.
1-1 draws with Heidenheim and our city rivals St. Pauli come either side of victories over Jahn Regensburg and Greuther Furth. The good news is that after two months, we're 2nd and still unbeaten, however, we need to be more clinical and better at the back. Heidenheim's goal came from an absurd source in our Right-back Gotoku Sakai, who drilled a back pass from the halfway line with the sort of power he wouldn't dream of putting into a shot, and Pollersbeck was helpless. There's been a few clubs sniffing around Sakai, and if he continues to do things like that, he'll be out of here in no time

So, no new additions for the first season, so let's have a look at the squad and tactics I'll be using in this save. It's a German save, so a Gegenpressing system is accurate, right?
This is already a strong 2. Bundesliga team predicted to finish 2nd, which would grant automatic promotion back to the Bundesliga
Two standout players are the very German sounding Aaron Hunt and former Spurs and Fulham midfielder Lewis Holtby
Fiete Arp is a player most of you should be familiar with, having been a wonderkid for the last few FMs, but Tatsuya Ito, Josha Vagnoman and Vasilije Janjicic all also have very good potential
So, onto preseason, and after a couple of routine wins over inferior foreign opponents, we claim 2 impressive victories over European Powerhouses Manchester City and Bayern Munich to maintain 100% record throughout pre-season
Our 2. Bundesliga campaign starts slowly, with feeble goalless draws against lower opposition in Holstein Kiel (who, to their credit, did make the relegation playoff IRL having finished 3rd) and SV Sandhausen, and it looked as though it was going to be a third against Bielefeld until Hwang Hee-Chan, on loan from Salzburg, popped up in the 92nd minute to give us a 1-0 win, which we followed up with a less dramatic win by the same scoreline away to Dynamo Dresden. There was a slight scare in the first round of the cup against Dynamo Berlin as they took the lead, before Arp immediately equalised and Ito and Mangala sealed a nervy win

So you all know the story of Hamburg, it is quite a common career, but I've been planning on doing a career since they got relegated in April/May due to the Bundesliga clock (a clock charting the time that Hamburg had spent in the Bundesliga, which started with the league's formation in 1963 and was reset this summer) and them being the only team that's been ever-present in the Bundesliga until last season. They had a lot of success in the late 70s and early 80s, most notably winning the Champions League in 1983, and now it's up to me to restore them to their former glory. So, you've got a team that has historically done very well but has had a slight blip and now needs to bounce back immediately to ensure the rot stops, so the Hamburg board have brought in a new manager, a former Dutch international, with the best coaching badges available, so surely they would provide appropriate funding for the new manager to bring in the players he needs?
Oh Brilliant

Well, that was disappointing. When I started off, with big wins over my main rivals, I thought "It's only downhill from here" and that couldn't have been more accurate. My form continued into the season, but after the cup win it tailed off and morale never recovered. I went from 3rd to 6th in a matter of weeks and never made back the difference. Complete and utter bottle
League (6th): 10 points
Cup (Winners): 25 points
UEL Qualification (via cup): 15 points
3 wins over HJK: 15 points
4 wins over TPS: 20 Points
Total: 85 points

I prioritised the Copa del Rey and Champions League as I realised I wasn't going to do anything significant in the league with a -50 goal difference. This worked, as I secured 11th place (Not great but could be worse) in the league and won everything else. Just the one transfer for me, with it being a 105 million pound tossup between Aubameyang and Milinkovic-Savic. I ended up going with the former as I didn't much fancy having to play Benzema regularly (although he did go on to score twice in the cup final after coming off the bench once PEA picked up an injury) Varane kept nagging me about joining City but I was having none of it.
La Liga:11th-10 points
Club World Cup: Winners-10 points
Copa Del Rey: Winners-25 points
Champions League: Winners-25 points
Total: 70 points

This is my first year doing SOT so wasn't sure what to expect
Got off to an incredible start, going 19 games unbeaten in all competitions to put me top of both the Eastern Conference and Supporters' shield, before a horrendous run of losses, with the US Cup being the only saving grace. There was a minor resurgence before a 5-0 thumping by NYCFC promptly put us back in our place. Defeats in the cup final to Atlanta United and the Eastern Conference semi-finals to the same opposition brought a disappointing end to what was a very promising season.
Points
  • 15 for Reaching the MLS playoffs
  • 10 for coming 4th in supporters' shield
  • 5 for reaching the semi-finals of the playoffs
  • 15 for finishing as runner-up in the US Cup
  • 5 for 1 win over New York Red Bulls
  • 10 for 2 wins over Chicago Fire
  • 15 for 3 wins over DC United
  • 5 for winning MLS Coach Of The Year
80 points in total
