Unfortunately~ Problem came back after 2 restarts.
By the way, I'm not using custom skins. just the stock FM dark skin with sortitout face and logo packs, with kits.
It worked! Re-generating the preferences folder worked! Thanks.
I've done that. I've even deleted the fm.exe and re-verify to download it again.
