Good signing for you that yeah, when we played them he was probably the best player on the pitch, certainly the best in their team by some distance.
Hilarious, two wins and two clean sheets (we've only kept one other clean sheet all season) against Newcastle. Mulgrew again!
They'll still go up, but they need to remember they couldn't score in 180 mins against a team set up by Owen Coy...
Take no notice of Coyle, he talks absolute shite.
Coyle out Venky's out. League 1 bound. League 1.....
(No offence to those who support teams in League 1, but it seemed an absolute world away for us a few years ago )
That's Palace safe then. Big Sam will tighten them up straight away and they've got some good players themselves going forward to always be a threat. Given how little there is between the teams from 7th down, wouldn't be surprised to see th...
Not saying it's not the case, but why would Wolves be bothered about trying to derail Newcastle's promotion push? They're 18th, and you're gonna go up anyway, no matter what.
Aye, he's absolutely on fire. To think he'd been a sub regularly until lately, hadn't he? He did always seem to pop up with goals whenever he played to be fair.
Poor showing from Roma on Saturday night, was a pretty comfortable 1-0 for Juv...
Crazy end there, 94th minute winner. Only saw the second half but Liverpool were well on top, but couldn't break Everton down. Frantic game including a terrible challenge on Henderson by Barkley.
We are absolute bobbins and Coyle couldn't set a team up to defend to save his life, how on earth did we win at Newcastle?
Oscar is going for that much? Football is fecked.
Wigan's a decent away game to go to, you'll have the full stand I imagine and you should win.
I'm going to Preston tomorrow, kick off 5.30 if anybody fancies watching that instead of Leicester v City.....
Mental end to the City-Chelsea game.
Leicester all over the place, they'll pick up at some point but I'm surprised they're struggling this much. Good to see Burnley's embarrassing away form continue.
West Ham look an absolute shamble...
You were miles better than us today, first half especially, should have been about 4-0 for you at HT rather than 1-1. I'll have to see the penalty again, hard to tell exactly from where I was.
We were lucky to get a point. I know you've been on...
Ah I see, yeah I'll be there. Got a bit of confidence after winning the last 2, but we very rarely string 3 wins together so wouldn't be surprised if we came back down to earth.
Are you going today mate?
It does seem as though he likes to have a different opinion to the majority. e.g. backing Pardew, hating Benitez.
How come you hate Benitez so much, Shola?
Must admit though resting players against us to focus on last night didn't really work out
I hope Newcastle fans are ready for managerial genius Owen Coyle to mastermind their downfall on Saturday.....
Well in West Brom! 4-0 it finishes.
Just gone top of this for the first ever time in all these years pressure's on now.
What's the general United fans view on Mourinho, Sam/Ninja? Prepared to give him time or concerned it's just not going to work out?
Sorry to hear mate.
Inter are always in absolute turmoil, you're right SS the problems go much deeper than the manager.
I know he didn't have a good start, but they should have given De Boer more time.
Barca completely fell apart in the end, some terrible defending, 3-1 City.
City would have been in a bit of trouble had they lost or even drawn and Borussia won tonight, but they'll qualify no problem now.
Swansea struggling. I know there's a long way to go yet but the bottom 3 could quite easily end up as it is now.
I can confirm that they are an odd bunch.
Venky's out
Made me laugh those comments before today how United, despite being in poor form, were still only 6 points off the top. It's only October, obviously they're not gonna be that far behind yet! 8 now....was hoping they'd win today though v Bur...
2-0 to Bolton I see, two pennies. You'd have got into the play offs with a win, but still only three points off.
Leicester well on their way to the knockout stages, great achievement so fair play to them, although they needed a great save from Schmeichel to preserve their lead (Slimani's goal should have stood though I guess).
Unreal saves too from Lloris and...
Saturday's game was one of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune to attend. Can only think of the FA Cup quarter final replay v Millwall in 2013 that was worse.
That was dull. Couple of good saves from De Gea, Zlatan's header, about it really.
A terrible camera angle as the icing on the cake!
HT and nothing at all has happened, apart from Dier's backpass gifting Slovenia a chance.
How is Lingard playing over Rashford? Get him and Vardy on, it'd inject a bit of life into the game at least.
That's a stinker for Scotland, pretty much kills any remote chance they had of qualifying IMO. Need to be taking max points from the weakest 2 teams in the group.
Seems harsh on Guidolin, did really well last season and then they've had a rotten fixture list so far this season yet aren't even the relegation zone, only the defeat to Hull could be classed as a really poor result so far this term.
The plan...
Joe Allen!! De Gea made a mess of that.
Owen Coyle is very, very poor at his job and, while he's not our biggest problem (far from it), he is a problem. Going down unless something major changes, simple as that.
Crazy what's happened with Big Sam. Don't know what he was thinking getting involved. He'd finally got his dream job, so unnecessary.
FA will be dying for Southgate to win his games in charge so they can give it to him permanently...
I think Sunderland will stay up as well actually, long way to go yet and Moyes should get them going eventually.
Annoyingly decent win for Burnley tonight though.
By Number 1 | On 25 September 2016 - 10:14 AM BSTbut to lose at home to Blackburn after scoring first with a squad that cost millions to assemble is one hell of an achievement.
Oi! Our promotion push starts here
We used to always beat Leeds away, then along comes Owen Coyle and we've lost there twice in a week....one of many records that will be set this season I imagine.
It was yeah, didn't see it coming, De Boer needed it though even at this stage.
New season, same old Roma unfortunately! Lost tonight to Fiorentina, chance to take advantage of Juve's defeat wasted.
Everton going well, went behind but now 3-1 up at HT and heading for 2nd place.
Ronaldo scored a free-kick
Would have had Sunderland-Everton down as a draw tonight or a narrow Everton win, surprised to see them hammer them 3-0.
Not feeling this new camera angle at Anfield at all..
Huddersfield and Barnsley as the top 2 after 6 games, who'd have thought it! Fair play to them.
As if Derby have only scored 1 goal after 5 and a half games, even we've mustered 5.
Did he make it all up? Bit weird that.
By Shola | On 01 September 2016 - 21:34 PM BSTLast time 'Jack' went on loan it was to a young progressive coach who played football the right way. A chilling glimpse into the future for Eddie Howe.7
Haha, thought the exact same thing!

David Luiz going back to Chelsea is an odd one.
Nowhere near as odd as Hart to Toro, Balotelli to Nice or Wilshere to Bournemouth though - who'd have seen those coming?
Bony to Stoke on loan. He'll do quite well I think.
