Have any of you experimented with PNGoo? It's a lossy PNG compressor and it easily shaves off 20kb of an image, without too much loss of quality. Given the ever increasing size of the MP, I think it would be interesting to experiment with this.

I'm currently comparing anything between 2,000 and 3,000 images a month and I simply can't cope with the workload any more. That's around a 100 a day, every day, and I've had batches of 400/500 build up recently on periods when I couldn't find time to compare them.
The work is thankless, boring and mind-numbing, make no illusions. Ideally, I would prefer if whoever expresses an interest is not a cutter as we need the few cutters we have doing their work on Photoshop and providing the cut-outs.

You're obviously not downloading all the packs from uploaded.net.
Try downloading the torrent file first and then downloading the separate update packs afterwards.
