I swear Portugal play someone like Northern Ireland, Cyprus, Iceland or someone like that almost every time there's a qualifier and they never seem to win.....

We'll probably go there and win convincingly now that we've no realistic hope of getting out of the group. Worked it out how best it could work out for us and it would end up with Sweden, Austria and Ireland on 17 points, so unless we hammer Austria and hammer Kazakhstan about 10-0 you've no need to worry about us.

Was thinking of going to the Norway - Switzerland game on Tuesday until I looked at the ticket prices... £40 for the cheapest. And then then Norwegian FA complain about the lack of support when we play at home. And it's not like they are an attractive side either... I mean, we only score on set pieces, lol.

It's not been great, but his game has never been about expansive passing play. He's at his best when he's on the move and running through defenses before he lays a pass off. He's never been one to thread beautiful weighted passes through to a teammate like Gerrard can, but that said it's not been great.

Give him time though - he's been injured for such a large part of his career yet is suddenly expected to be England's most influential and exciting player. I'm sure he'll get better as the season goes on.
