In the real world, it would cause inflation (As Ducktales so effectively illustrates) but since Rockstar have complete control over prices in-game I doubt it will be an issue.

Racing online is pretty shit anyway because half the people care less about the race than taking you out

When I've raced the others haven't been too bad with that. Besides, most of those people can't race worth shit. When catchup isn't enabled they all end up way back.

It depends, I've had some decent races and some shit ones because of it. Had some epic 16 player races ruined by a guy trying to take me out right at the start
