Good, apparently we were appalling. We need a permanent manager soon, Stuart gray isn't the type of man we need
Shola
Coyle or McLeish, look like maybe the only reasonable option. Or Di Canio for excitement.
NiceLad
Dear god I hope not one of them, but thats the problem, its a very poor pool of managers we could attract.
This is how the pitch was as the game got called off

As for Coyle and McLeish, Sheff Weds would be better taking a chance on someone who's doing well a league or two below rather than appointing someone who's just gonna be a failure.

We looked into getting the grotesque Steve Evans, he wanted to come, Rotherham weren't interested in letting us speak to him which is fair enough. the main problem with getting someone in who is employed is compo, Milan is a rehyt tight old man at the minute.
The replay of the game will be the full 90 minutes, just like the Charlton Doncaster game which was replayed the other week.
Shola
Do you have any preference?
Easier said than done. No one springs to mind. Slade, Ferguson, Parkinson or Pressley maybe? Or the Wallsall manager Dean Smith seems to be doing pretty good. But I don't know anything about him. I doubt Ferguson or Slade would be interested either.
At least I think Coyle or McLeish would probably steady the ship. Their track records aren't that bad.
Poe
He's so boring. In every aspect.

Not really no, the options are pretty poor, if he'd come back to England I'd love to see Roland Nilsson take over, but that might be more to do with him being a bit of legend then on managerial experiance, altho his record in Scandinavia is quite good.
Mandaric is hoping Stuart Gray keeps picking up points so he can appoint him on the cheap, if he doesn't I think it'll be Stuart Pearce taking over.
bluemoon.
You poor bastard.

It'll be interesting

Credit to you going down there, absolute trek! Our away followings this season have been excellent actually.
Good result too, can always rely on Rhodes. So we've won our last two and the game before that was a draw at QPR, our next games are Sheff Weds + Birmingham at home - 6 more points please! We'd be flying then.
George14brfc
ha ha cheers mate it was a trek ! They have been fantastic and was good yesterday too the attendance was 7,179 with 1,074 rovers away fans!
Rhodes goal was a great finish as you say we can always rely on him to score. Good form recently and 2 nice home games to come could even see us in the play offs

Must've helped soften the result. Did you buy beer in the ground or go to the spoons down the road?
gfnx25
We got there by car and brought our own beers The blunts we smoked before the game didn't help either. We knew this game was going to be shit, so we celebrated ourselves for a bit
Vercoe
Don't contaminate our drinking pool with your northern beers, mind! You lot were probably the highest anyone's been at Home Park, certainly more so than the home team (at least in the table).

We need another striker in the transfer window just to give us the cutting edge. We're playing well enough - in fact, I can only think of a very small number of team performances at the level I've seen from Town in the last 3 home games - we just can't kill games off. We should have taken at least 7 from the last 9 home points, and shouldn't be 4 without a win, but we just can't convert chances. We missed Vaughan, although Paterson's goal will do him the world of good.
And a word about Will Hughes. The boy is going to be a superstar. I can't think of the last time I saw such a young player play in such a measured, controlled fashion. Neither have I seen the awareness he has in a youngster - at one point he played a glorious reverse pass to an overlapping teammate without even looking. And England didn't take him to the U21 tournament this summer and opted for a bunch of Premier League youngsters! Unbelievable!

Yeah I thought we were really poor today. I like Bowyer, he's a godsend after the last 3 permanent managers we've had (especially Kean), but I found his tactics a bit odd today - Williamson for Gestede was strange. We don't need two defensive midfielders at home to a poor Sheffield Wednesday team (no offence Nicelad, although we just as bad today), and that sub resulted in our best CM, Cairney, being pushed out wide where he isn't anywhere near as effective. Should have just been Rochina for Gestede.
If we beat Birmingham at home on Sunday then we're still in a good run of form, but you're right, we have to be winning games like this if we want to be near the play-offs.
George14brfc
As you say I like Bowyer too ! But we should defo have had Rochina on earlier when Gestede went off.We need to get a deal sorted out for Cairney otherwise he will leave in January on a brighter note Ben Marshall seems to be getting better ! Also Taylor suffered quite a nasty injury hopefully we can beat Birmingham and keep the unbeaten run going.
