We beat second in the league Oxford 3-2 in a game that Oxford had been bigging up as "The Big Match" for months, giving lout cheap tickets, huge advertising campaign, boasting a sell out (nowhere near), pyrotechnics, flags to every home fan, an opera singer pre-match. And we went and ruined it for them. There's quite a few bitter Oxford fans on Twitter.

One Night In Grimsby
Cos we played Macc yesterday, lost 3-2, first defeat in 15 games. Macc played pretty well, surprised theyre not doing better. We were awful mind and another day would have got at least a point. Boxing day game against Lincoln took its toll on the players i think.
Macc players were first class dickheads by the way, especially the guy upfront, Boden and the lad in midfield, Kay. Get on with the game rather than antagonizing the crowd, wankers.
Back to winning ways on new years day, Lincoln at home.

Scott Kay? He was in our development squad last season. Got farmed out pretty sharpish, which is normally a sign he's not much cop - bearing in mind Tom Smith joined at the same time and has recently become a first-team regular.
We delivered a bit of a hammering to Yeovil today. For the third home game in a row we had more than 25 shots and this time we made them count, despite going behind. Without Vaughan we've started to carry more of a threat, and hopefully we'll be able to carry it on into the new year. Burnley up next, and we know we can beat them.

We started brilliantly in our new 3-4-3 system. Anton Forrester (talks with Blackburn ongoing about extending his loan deal) scored the lead after 40 seconds and Nathan Cameron made it 2-0 after 17 minutes. We should have scored a lot more because York were utter bullcrap in the first half but just couldn't finish off our chances. Second half York got a bit better and got one back after 70 minutes. We also got lucky this time because the ref denied them a stone wall penalty but hey, who cares?
All in all we deserved to win and this win lifts us out of the relegation zone for the time being. Next up Pools away on New year's eve

BR.
Had a feeling you'd have gone today! I'd have probably gone if it wasn't New Year's Day haha.
Really good result yeah, when they got the second just a few mins into the second half I thought they'd go on to equalise, we obviously did well to hold on! Credit to Bowyer yeah, hopefully from now on he'll use this approach in games that need it - like Sheff Weds at home on Boxing Day, if we'd have played with today's formation I'm sure we'd have won. And we'd have been in the play offs then, only 2 points off now! Need to beat Doncaster at home next, then we'll be looking good!!

James Burke joined on an 18-month deal after being released by Huddersfield, while Frederic Veseli joined on a month's loan from Ipswich. We also extended Brian Jensen's contract and Anton Forrester's loan until the end of the season. Burke and Veseli made their debut today and we beat Hartlepool away 3-0!
Absolutely over the moon. Didn't expect a win let alone by a 3 goal margin

ha ha yeah mate decided it was worth the trip !
It was a good result but as you say we should have played like this against Sheff Wed but hopefully from now on we will big game against Doncaster who are struggling down the bottom lets hope its better than the away game where we were awful worse game of the season so far for me they hit bar at 2-1 which was very close and from then on I think they would have got something and he should have scored but tbh we should have had 2 penalties really one in each half having said that Hanley could have been sent off would have too see them again though ! Cairney was class really needs to be signed up.

Huddersfield.
Just wow.

Roughly what everyone thought when we sold Jordan Rhodes to Blackburn. I may be biased, but it's a good move for him - he'll play every week and get a better chance with Town than he would at QPR or Reading or at a Premier League side, and he's at a good stepping stone if he has ambitious of Premier League football in the long term.
bluemoon.
It's never a bad day when you piss off Leeds.

Jason
He's 23, so at an age where he probably won't wanna move away from family, at Huddersfield, he doesn't have to. He will want to test himself at an higher level, at Huddersfield he will do that. Really cheap price aswel if he does even half aswel as he's done for Bradford over the last 2 years. Leeds fans are the worst fans imaginable, they'll be laughing if he's a failure, even though they're crying that they've lost out on him.

In other news, we signed Robbie McIntyre from Huddersfield on Friday, making us their official feeder team.

What do you make of Brandy resigning from us on loan? Really hot headed character, two sendings off for us this season, psychically he's brilliant, technically he's poor.
Seems to take players on with ease but to no end product, not rated by us lot anyway.
