Why does everybody think this forum has gone to the dogs? Hope this doesn't come across being rude, just curious because it used to be really popular but now, not so much.

Mostly because Facebook and Twitter are sucking forums and message boards dry, not just on FM sites but for most things. It's just more convenient to be able to visit a facebook group instead of having to sign up for loads of different websites. And with the scene seemingly drying up it seems to me that there is far less content available for FM in the last few releases than previously.

Things are turning out good for me, which is nice. Apart from my messed-up sleeping pattern. Still think university is the best thing to happen to me though, coming back home for Christmas really shows how miserable being at home, bored, is, compared to being active and sociable at uni.

Older members have left and haven't been properly replaced. As an example, in Off-Topic the core group of consistent posters have all been members for years, newer members aren't sticking around. They're downloading the megapacks and fecking off.

I bet the benefits program was just some government sponsored propaganda to entice people to support all their cuts by making them believe that everyone who gets any help is like that.

I went on JSA when I left Uni and couldn't get a job. Still not got a job like, but had to come off JSA after about 3 weeks. They are making it really strict nowadays to get the dole money.

I think the police work in partnership with Channel 4 in this case.

I don't mind people who are on JSA when they genuinely can't find a job and are doing everything to try and get one, its those that just sit on JSA and have no intentions of actually getting a job that piss me off.

There aren't enough jobs to go round and now the new influx of Romanians have come in this year, employers find it easier to employ the Romanians because they'll work for half the price an English person would. One of many problems with our country.

Watching the ITV news the other day, apparently barely any Romanians and Bulgarians took advantage of the restrictions being lifted, those who did emigrate chose to go to Germany where the economy is stronger.
