The spike is loading task manager, the middle part is on this site, and the right hand part of the graph is on youtube page resting.

As for a shit laptop, I'm on a Lenovo X1 Carbon, with an Intel Core i7-3667U Processor( 2.00GHz 1600MHz 4MB), Intel HD Graphics 4000, and 8.0GB RAM PC3L-10600 DDR3L 1333 MHz. I have no idea what most of that shit means, but it's an Ultrabook. Which is the opposite of shit.

*Depends what you're looking for I guess. Ive had an S4, Iphone and a HTC One the past few months, each had their pros and cons. S4 had a fairly decent battery life and I like the android system, but it was a little buggy at times. Iphone battery was shit but was probably the most user friendlyish and loads of apps etc, but android market is getting better. HTC one is pretty similar to my S4 but the build quality is a lot, lot better. Battery is a lot shitter though .

I cannot seem to log in on Chrome now. Go through the log in page, put my username and password, all seems to work but im still as guest, no matter how many times i do it. Tried logging in on firefox and it worked though

Its not because of the different handsets, they all run the same software and most apps are just software dependent, the only reason devs prefer iOS is because money talks, Apple pay them X amount then they also make X amount per every download of their app. They also then stick pointless in-app purchases for people to buy their way through levels which is totally pointless, but people still use them.
