Maybe not, commentators now claiming he was touched but I haven't seen a replay since. Definitely tripped over his own legs though.

the stream im watching it on has the most hilarious commentary. Some american guy with some guy from newcastle who is just shouting everything, some ridiculous phrases.

"Messi languishes in these shadows and then pounces from them like a raging werewolf" and "giving Benzema space in the box like that is like showing your neck to Dracula" being 2 of my favourites so far

He took another step with the foot that was touched, then threw his other foot to the floor instead of stepping. It was blatant simulation.

I have no idea i never caught his name but it was simultaneously the best and worst commentary ive ever heard. There was a fantastic one-liner every 30 seconds it was hilarious. It was on BEINSPORTS or something like that.
